Pros & Cons :this cost it 2 stars in my rating)- single thermostat means that you need to readjust it every time you switch between hot and cold (a pain in the butt in the spring, with warm/cool days)- poor construction (cheaply made)- designed for short registers (it doesn't properly cover standard 10"x6" registers)the noise is definitely a huge problem with this thing.

Pros & Cons :this is a great solution if your airflow to a room is weak, but i can imagine some circumstances (strong airflow, but warm air) where boosting the airflow won't help or you'll have a ceiling effect.
