This allows for a little growing room - that means you don't have to buy new shoes every month.

Picture day is fun, but can also be really stressful for a child. Make sure they have the confidence to take a great picture by making sure they are put together down to the shoes. Dressing up is always fun for kids, even through the high school years, but before you let your kids convince you to let them go to picture day in heels, make sure they don't have any balance issues. If they trip and sprain an ankle it could make for an unhappy picture day, and that's not a memory you want to share with friends and family when you get the pictures back only to see a frown in every photo.
