The Easiest Chocolate Cake – This recipe is said to be the easiest way to make a chocolate cake, and you don’t even need eggs or milk!

  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

In a bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda until well-mixed. Together, add the vinegar, vanilla, oil, and water. Stir well and the pour into a greased, 9-inch round pan. Back at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick poked into the center comes out clean.

For the frosting, you’ll only need a few more things:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups icing sugar

First beat the butter in a large bowl until creamy, then add the other ingredients. If the frosting isn’t creamy enough, you can always add a few drops of milk. Mix until the frosting is smooth and fluffy.

After you frost your super easy and delicious chocolate cake, place an acrylic cake cover over the top. The acrylic cake cover will keep the cake safe and showcase it at the same time!
