Baby Bjorn Original Carrier - Navy

   I read a lot of reviews before I bought this carrier. I heard good things about Babybjorn carriers but a little pricy for me. Other cheaper alternatives didn't seem very comfortable. Thanks to Amazon I was able to get this Babybjorn carrier for only $49 plus a $3 shipping from Babysupermarket. Very pleased with the purchase. It was a life-saver for my international trips this summer, although the weather was hot, both my baby and I was comfortable, beacuse it is made of breathable cotton. It is so easy to use, I was able to quickly put on and take off all by myself and with my baby in my arms. It is definitly the most comfortable and easy to use baby carrier in the market. If you have more budget, get a Babybjorn carrier with more back support, then it will be perfect.

   I just hated the Baby Bjorn. It was so hard to figure out all those buckles and I didn't like how my baby's legs just hung down. It looked awfully uncomfortable. We were both happier with a plain old fabric sling. You can also nurse in a sling and it's more comfortable for the baby to sleep.

   I purchased this carrier when my son was just a week old and used it for nearly one year. It was on clearance at Babies R Us for only fifteen dollars. It was well worth the price. The only problem I ever encountered with it was the back support was minimal. I do have frequent back problems and it does not take much to aggravate it. The weight of my son did get a little daunting at about the six month mark. My brother would also use the carrier and he claims the support was fine for him. I would say if you have back problems think hard about this purchase, if you don't go ahead. I personally would still make this purchase. Another plus is that is does not look as silly as those women carrying around their child in a Sling. People never gave me those looks with this!
