   I fell in love with my camera as soon as I got it. It's so thin and I love the design. It's so easy to use and takes photos that come out surprisingly clear.

   I did SO much research before buying this camera, originally thinking I'd get the Canon Rebel XSI... This lens is amazing, it's so powerful and versatile that when I compared it to buying the Canon body and 2 Canon lenses that would cover a similar zoom range, the Canon option stopped making any financial sense. I'm extremely happy with the photos I've taken with this guy, from massive gigapixel panoramas to HDRI to action shots at the dog park. It makes photography as simple as you need it to be or as precise as you want. I know the D700 is coming out soon -- unless you are a serious pro and working in a lot of low-light, don't bother paying more for this. Full-frame sensor isn't worth the premium.

   Wading through instructions is tedious, but love the camera. I upgraded from a D-200, which I liked very much. Most detailed photos I've ever had. We'll know more after more trial photos.

   This is a fantastic camera. I upgraded from D200 and happy that Nikon made the D300. They have changed around many of the menu items I was use to from my D200, but that is worth the better quality when I shoot at higher ISO's. I higly recommend for any serious photographer.

   wow, wow, wow
   
   Pros: This camera is just what the doctor ordered. It is easy to use, and takes great pictures with just the pre-sets that are available.nIt also has the ability to change the lens and do the fancy stuff if you want to go into, what I call "No Man's Land".nI have a friend who bought the Xti and his bottom line on a camera is if his wife could use it. She could. Dell has a supper buy on this camera, and I am beginning to see some of the same deals in some of the super stores.
   Cons: The camera is larger than a pocket camera. You will need to take a bag if you use more than one lens, but I consider that part of the mystique of SLR's...

   Great camera
   Very good camera to start a photoraphy business, before investing mega $ in true professional equipment.
   Pros: Excellent picture quality. Easy to change WB,ISO,AF settings. Zoombrowser software is easier to use for downloads than Photoshop elements 5. Excellent battery life. Very nice LCD display. AE lock is a nice feature. Auto sensor cleaning is very good.
   Cons: AV setting is a pain to change in manual mode. Body needs to be more ruggedly constructed, with better weather sealing. AE lock button is akward to use.

   Great Starter Digital SLR
   
   Pros: Takes great phots without having to be a great photographer and allows more experienced users the fexibility to be more creative. It is a fast and responsive camera that allows you to catch the shot you missed with the slower and cheaper digital cameras. The battery life on a single charge can get you through a weekend of shooting and still have power left over.
   Cons: Be carefull when ejecting and inserting the memory card. The mechanism is sensitive and can jam making the camera need to be serviced.

   The HP R937 digital camera from Beach Camera is probably HP's very best, feature-packed, sleek, and powerful offering. Its 8.0 MB picture sample is superb for everything from simple snapshots to more ambitious compositions, and the camera's built-in "design gallery" temps the user with special effects, touch-up, pet and red-eye reduction, and in-camera panoramic creation and stitching--more than any other camera in this price range can do. The 3.6" touch screen (the whole back of the camera!) doubles as a viewing screen and a menu/settings system. Simply put: the best! Beach Camera and Amazon make for a dependable, secure, speedy purchase as well.

   I tell you I really wanted to love this camera. I think the touch screen and huge LCD are great innovations and make this camera fun and easy to use. If all you are taking are pictures out on a sunny day, then this IS a great camera. However, any type of inside shot or low light shots are awful. A little noise is bearable. However, there is so much noise in low light pictures using the R937, that even the best editing software can't do much to improve the shots. Also, in my experience, the pet-eye reduction had no impact at all in shots of our dog. The red-eye reduction feature on the camera works well, and that is good because you're going to need it! The placement of the flash immediately above the lens was a design mistake in my opinion, because it washes out many of what would otherwise be a good picture. Again, if this camera is mainly for outdoor shots at the beach, you will be happy with the results. If not, steer clear and buy something else.

   This is simply everything that I have ever wanted in a digital camera. I purchased this camera in August a week after it was on the market. I have waited until now to write a review because i wanted to fully test it. I LOVE this CAMERA. It has taken me from Vegas to Cali to VA Beach and all points in between. I have not had one bad picture. I was sold on the touch screen feature. My four year old can make mommy skinny on this camera or adjust red eye. It's that easy to use. After 6 months of using this camera..I would purchase it again and again without hesitation.

   I purchased this camera to replace 5mp camera. The huge screen makes lining up those shoots a breeze, pictures have all turned out very nice (though red-eye seems a little bit more common than I am used too), and I absolutely LOVE the video recording. Sure the video is not put on your TV quality, but for those times when you don't carry a full camcorder around and just happen to have this in the car or wife's purse, the video is perfect. Since I live away from home, I am able to upload these smaller videos for family back home and allow them to see allot of our lives that they would miss. A great camera, especially for the very low price.

   My pictures comes out dark when i am taping a dance video in a club.. when i put auto flash the pictures comes out as if there were ghosts all around and it comes out yellow. i have to put flash oen when i am in a dark place and sometime it comes out dark yellow.. everytime i take pictures the screen goes black then if the people move after the flash it comes out blurry..it is nothing like what i heard it will be.. money wasted.

   I like to use an ac power cord when doing work where the camera is connected to the computer, to save on battery life. This is also suggested in the instruction manual. But though the specs say this camera comes with an ac cord, that cord doesn't connect to the camera; it's part of the battery charger. To buy the right ac cord, you must go to another vendor, and put out another $35-40. Also, I haven't found any photo stitch ability the ability to align several landscape photos and then stitch them together) with this camera. I do like the small size.
