   I have had this printer for about 2 years. It is a realy workhorse, printing lots of photos and text for myself and my wife. This thing does a great job with both. Also, despite what some reviewers on here say, the separate ink tanks have the potential to save you considerable amounts of money. Much better design than a single tank model. Although I've never tried to refill ink tanks or use after-market tanks in this printer, I did run into the plague of ink tank error messages that many reviewers have described. Turns out I had not one, but two defective ink tanks in the printer. After discussing the issue with online support from Canon, they sent two new ink tanks at no charge. They arrived within 3 days.

   Purchased this printer some time back but decided to give it a review after using it. The printer quality is acceptable, even for 8x10 color photographs. However, it periodically just quits working - "The printer is off line..." Tried a number of times to get technical support at Canon to assist me without success - would not even answer my emails. As far as I am concerned, I will never purchase another Canon product again. If the printer won't print, it is just as good as not having a printer.

   Sure, it's cheap, but you'll quickly make up for that in buying ink. This printer takes 5 separate ink cartirdges, 4 of which must be bought in a pack, so you end up with extras you never use. It will refuse to print if it thinks any of those 5 cartridges have unacceptable ink levels. This has happened to me even on a fairly new cartridge. Even worse, my particular machine often gets confused and tells me I have more than one of the same color installed (I don't). Again, because of this, it refuses to print. I wish I'd never bought this printer.

   I can't believe how hard of a time I've had this my canon printer. (Which I have now replace with a sweet Brother laser printer!) The chips that are in the ink cartridges seem to keep failing, making 90% full ink tanks say they are empty. Its a horrible design and shouldn't have been put on to the market. Avoid this product.

   You can buy the same ink cartridges in a multipack for about 1/3 less. This product is extremely over priced.

   These ink packages arrived promptly, were properly wrapped, and work as neede in our Canon printer.

   this ink performs well. if you don't want to take chances with the generics, go for this. Canon is still cheaper than some of the other name brand inkjets.

   I have always felt that replacement ink cartridges sold by the manufacturer of the printer for which they are intended are superior to other cartridges manufactured or marketed by another company. The Canon ink cartridges which I purchase for my Canon printer have always performed perfectly and lasted for a reasonable time.

   I am thrilled with my buy. I have looked all over and found my best deal at Amazon.com much to my surprise. I have ordered ALL my colors from here and will continue to do so. Ebay offers refilled cartridges without the chip needed and say for YOU to replace them with your old ones, well why take the chance of screwing up your printer...spring for the REAL ones that are COMPLETE. Best buy....Amazon.

   Can't beat amazon for the Canon cartridges and they are the real thing not some substitute and I have ordered more than once so give it a try and with free shipping and no tax to most states it will save a bundle over time. Locally here in NYC they are $15 each or more. Sadly now Amazon has to charge us NYrs tax on things since some law was passed by the state. Anyhow try the canon from Amazon!

   I have had nothing but good results from my Canon PIXMA PRO9000 printer and this ink. The colors are bright and true to life. I have been very satisfied with this product.

   Purchased this item from Amazon cause its hassel free - was at a competitive price and was delivered to the door free. Have purchased a few of these from Amazon/Adorama and have had no issues with quality or delivery.

   Love the Canon Pro9000 printer and inks. The photos I print look just as good if not better than those from a "professional" printing lab.

   These are well made cartridges and I'm very happy with the photo quality. Besides the high price and fairly small quantity, the only thing that bugs me is that the sensor says it's empty when the main reservoir is empty. There's still at least a couple 8X10s left in the absorbent material above the nozzle. Someone once explained how you can use a piece of electrical tape to "fool" the sensor and get out that precious remaining ink. But I haven't been able to do it on my Pro9000. I'd be grateful for any feedback--it's a shame to waste good ink!

   exactly as described; amazon provided other retailers , this was least expensive. quickly mailed and oem. just read and understand what you are getting when you compare

   This is probably the fifth cartridge I have replaced and the only one not to work perfectly.This one would produce good quality single pages but incomplete printing of multi-page documents. Amazon was quick to send a replacement after I contacted them but, sent the wrong cartridge.
