Denim Short Sleeve Jacket

Looking to add a little something extra to your regular casual attire? A denim short sleeve jacket is just what might fit the bill. On a personal note, I like the look of short-sleeved jackets but totally disagree on its overall functionality. Yes, it does add style, but that is it. For me they hang unworn in my wardrobe. In theory, you can wear them over a slim long-sleeved top or sweater for an interesting and weather suited style. These are not for any specific purpose but just for the layered look style. They do not classify as a perfect outerwear, so you can wear them in summer or spring. Here is my argument if it is cold enough to need a jacket, then you cannot possibly wear a sleeveless top or dress under it and feel warm. On the other hand, if it is warm enough for a camisole or tank top, then why do you need a jacket?

Denim jackets are the perfect companion to the seasons’ beautiful floral dresses and vivid prints. Here’s a list of some of my favorites.

• Cropped denim jacket: This is one kind of a jacket which should adorn the closet of every woman. Cropped denim jackets end just below your chest. The long sleeves, logo buttoned cuffs, two small pockets over the chest – all these give this jacket a very sexy look. I got myself the Hinge crop stretch denim jacket and I simply adore it because of its flare cut and femme fit. A cropped jacket will look great with any outfit and is the best way to complete your casual look.

The material provides comfort and the trimmed sleeves add to the girly feel for this denim jacket. These jackets particularly go well with long floral dresses or a nice pair of cotton leggings.
