Pro: Great pictures. On par or better than canon sd870. Easy to navigate menus. Best shots feature is useful. Con: LCD preview display could be enhanced. The preview display quality seems to be of much poorer quality compared to Canons. This is not a big deal since the final picture looks great.

This is an excellent little camera. It has every feature you would want, it is very easy to use, and the large screen on the back is superb. There is high resolution when you enlarge the pictures, even to 8x10. I highly recommend this camera for the amateur or the professional.

This is our second Casio Exilim and it is excellent. A camera has to be small enough to carry in your pocket or you just won't take it with you. This and the EX-Z750 have the small optical sensor which provide good clear pictures even zoomed in.

My wife and I have owned the Casio Exilim for over a year. I am writing this review now to give an impression of our normal usage and how the Exilim has performed. I have been extremely pleased. The big pluses are: * FAST! Camera turns on and is ready to take pictures almost instantly! - one of the criteria I looked at closely when purchasing was the "boot" time. We tested the display models at a store before purchasing. This model was the fastest by far. * SD card easy to access - I strongly recommend purchasing a large SD card and a card reader for your desktop or laptop. It makes transferring and managing your images fast and simple. * Comes with excellent dock - I have come to love a good docking station for electronic products. The Exilim comes with a dock that is well designed and works great for recharging. * Is very slim - this is truly a pocket camera. The best camera is the one you have with you. Period. * Large screen size - nearly the entire back of the camera is screen! *Takes great pictures - we have taken some pretty spectacular outdoor images. As is typical of digital cameras, indoor images are fairly grainy and not nearly as lovable. However, it performs as well or better than other small digitals I have used indoors. *Battery - we have never had problems with the battery life during normal vacations. The occasional recharge at home is all we need. The battery has also survived a year of normal use without showing signs of age. If it does become a problem, Casio has made it extremely simple to swap out batteries - it's a matter of seconds. Summary: if you're looking for a small camera that can be kept on hand and trusted for special occasions like vacations, I highly recommend the Exilim EX-S770.

This is the best camera I have ever purchased. I love the huge screen on the back of the camera. When printed, the pictures come out very clear with great color. I would definitly recommend.

I brought the camera as a gift for the wife (per her wishlist) so I didn't know anything about the cam when I brought it....but now that I have it for awhile I love it. PROS: -Built like a tank (ie. I accidentally drop it from about 5 feet and it landed on gravel with rocks). The camera now has a big dent on it but still works great. -takes decent/normal video. -I came from a 3.2 Mpixel camera from this so the pictures blew me away. I liked the picture quality that I now use it instead of my DSLR when I want good pictures during informal events. -took the exilim on a tropical beach for vacation and the pictures that came out are beautiful. Turned me into a shutterbug during that trip...I was taking 100 to 300 shots per day...LOVE it! CONS: -make sure you have the cam's cradle to charge the camera! -flash sucks (but same goes to other point and shoot cameras) so, just try not to use the flash or just accept washout pics at night when using flash. Not a big issue for me!

This is an excellent camera. It takes great pictures and easily fits in a pocket or purse.Love all of the best shot modes, they all seem to work great. Also love the anti-shake feature.. it works great. All other cameras that I have used the anti-shake features didn't work at all. This camera also takes great action shots, even from a moving car!! I would definitly reccomend this product to anyone!

I've taken jillions of great pictures with my little Exilim....It's good for everything from macro to landscapes. And being able to take lots of nice little movies with good sound is a huge plus. And mine is one of the first models out without modern refinements like anti-shake. I've gotten it wet, I've turned it off and on jillions of times... it just keeps on taking good pictures.

I bought my camera in July 2007 and LOVED it...awesome photos, simple to use, fast shutter speed, etc. I am a trained photographer but wanted a small camera to take with me on trips and to parties, etc., and the size and price was fantastic...SOLD! For once, I did not get an extended warranty, and that was my biggest mistake. In October 2007, I took the camera to a friend's wedding and it suddenly turned itself off, with the lens still partially out, halfway through the reception. I figured I must have not charged the battery enough, and placed it back in its case to take home, disappointed I only got about a dozen photos from the wedding. Upon charging the battery, I realized the camera had died, so I dug out the box and called Casio. I then went through a relay to get the camera shipped out for service...three feet of bubble wrap and Express Mail, for starters. Three weeks later, I got a letter in the mail demanding over $100 for repairs, or a "ransom" of a small amount of money to get it back, unusable. If I did not respond promptly, I would never see my little camera again. So I called and talked with someone, who said they hadn't actually looked at it yet (how did they know how much to charge then??) Another person got on the phone (a "tech") and informed me I must have dropped the camera because there was severe damage to the outer lens. Uhm, no. After "negotiating" for two weeks, I was able to reduce the "fix fee" to about $80 with shipping and "service." I figured this was better than out and out buying a new camera (they have since gone down in price, ironically enough). I got the camera back over a month later and have used it sparingly, since my job requires a "fancier" model. Two days ago I tried to turn it on to view photos...and...nothing. It's dead, again. It is NEVER removed from its case unless it's in use, I store it in a fireproof/dirtproof container, and I have maybe taken 10 photos on it since I received it back in December...it's NEVER EVER been dropped, scratched, bumped. I also am the only one who's ever taken photos with it. Clearly, this is a lemon, and there is no way I'm going to get Casio to repair it again...and even if they agreed, I have already essentially bought this camera one and a half times over. The sad part is, I really love this camera and did not intend to buy another point and click for some time. I do not think every version of this camera is a lemon (and let's face it...they happen), but I will definitely think twice before contacting Casio customer "service" again. Two lessons learned: 1. Buy the extended warranty. 2. If you must send it in for repair, borrow a camera and take closeups of it before shipping it off; otherwise you will be blatantly accused of negligence, no matter how much you baby your property, like I do.

I returned the camera for warranty repair when the lens would not open. I got back a estimate for repair(134.57) which stated it was not covered because the damage was caused by severe impact to the casing, which it was not. Kind of like having the fox watch the hen house-they claim severe impact so they can try scamming you out of a repair bill. To add insult to injury they charged me $7.95 S&H to get my unrepaired camera back. Shame on Casio.

Just what I needed. Mpeg4 videos; nice and small and with a price to match it. I'm no camera expert but the pictures look crips and vivid. The Best Shot button is great. The auto focus feature that supposedly focuses on faces isn't working all that great for me though, I must be doing something wrong. I also liked it that you can use pretty much standrad rechargeable batteries. The charger is very nice as well and has a USB interface. Works of 100-240V and 50-60 Hz. Excellent buy.

I moved from a Canon SD 750 to this Casio and it was the worst thing ever! Canon makes such good quality cameras that take great pictures then I go to this Casio and it sucks! Not only does it not focus on anything closer than 1.5ft, it just does not take good pictures. I hate this camera, stay with Canon they make real quality cameras. I just bought an SD 1100 Canon and I am throwing the Casio in the trash where it belongs.
