IRWIN Silver &Deming Drill Bit -3/4"
I bought this bit in hopes of it not dulling like the Hitachi comparison did, but it dulled on me after drilling 2 holes in 1/2" steel. I believe it dulled because I was not using it properly though. I have a 1/2' hand drill and when you move it slightly to reposition, you drill the hole at a slightly differenet angle causing the tips on the outside of the drill bit to round off, causing the bit to not work well or to not work at all. Unless you are drilling in wood, I would suggest putting this drill bit in a press, rather than using it on a hand drill. Over all, the product is good and it probally dulled like the other from the improper use.
