Wear cropped pants the chic way

One of the hottest trends this season is cropped pants, which are basically your regular trousers, cut slightly above the ankle. Cropped pants can be anything from your khakis to skinny denims.

Now cropped is a rather generic term for any kind of straight-leg pants. These can be hemmed just above the ankle or even go up to your knees. Anything ranging from capri pants to clam diggers forms a part of the cropped category.

The versatile pants are wearable in more than one ways. You can dress them up or down as per the occasion. Here are a few simple tippers to wear these pants in style-

Shorter women should always wear them with heels. These cropped pants tend to create an illusion of shorter legs. A pair of chic heels, especially strappy wedges or peep-toe pumps helps to counteract this problem.
Eileen Fisher cropped pants offers a range of neutral colors. Its best to choose cropped trousers in blacks, grays, beige or white as it can be paired with most outfits. I pair them with t-shirts, tunics and even summery shirts and peasant tops!
Cropped jeans are one of my favorite accessories. Not only because they are stylish, but they are so affordable too. When my jeans get too faded or rip off from the bottoms, I simply crop it with a pair of scissors. A few uneven strands add to my casual style.

As a rule of thumb, cropped pants are not work-appropriate and shouldn’t be worn to formal occasions. But if you are working on the weekend then a pair of black cropped pants works well.
