   I'm an old man and have resisted the ipod for some time now. I love my music loud and have been deprived of tons of my cd's and good stereo system for some time now. I purchased the ipod because we're moving soon and I'll have room to set up all kinds of LOUD stereo equipment. I can't wait. I've been loading the ipod furiously with cd's and buying i tunes of lots of stuff I've long wanted but never got around to buying. The sound quality is terrific, the music is cheap to purchase and the tons of accessories that are available make the ipod a must have, especially given the number of albums I can store on it. I got the 80 gig classic. The way I see it, I should have done this a long time ago. It's easy to use and super convenient. I'll most likely buy another one for my wife. This is too much fun ! Don't be an old fart, BUY THAT ipod DUDE !

   I LOVE my iPod, I haven't been anywhere without it. It's easy to use with an insane amount of memory. I had a lot of trouble with the touch pad on my old Zen Micro, I could never land on the item/song/whatever that I wanted, the iPod controls haven't failed me yet! Hurray for the lack of frustration!

   I bought an Ipod classic 6th generation 80GB and couldn't be happier with it. I listen to it all day at work and the battery last for quite awhile. I recomend buying a case for it Leather Case for iPod Touch 8GB/16GB Black + Wall Charger and Bose Earbud Headphones Bose TriPort In-Ear Headphones - Headphones ( ear-bud ) - black, the sound great and come with three different sizes, which comes in handy with my really small ears.

   The seller was prompt and helpful when contacted about arranging an alternate shipping address. The actual iPod touch had quite a few significant scratches on the back. This was pretty annoying because the seller had advertised the product with a 'Like New' description. I personally don't think that a little used product should be considerably scratched. The price asked, $289 was however, significantly below the actual $400 price, so I am quite happy with my product on the whole.

   I purchased this model late Tuesday night and was able to get a $10 discount and free super saver shipping. I knew that the super saver shipping would delay me having the Ipod in my hand but Amazon has been terrific when it comes to shipping. Sure enough, the expected arrival date was between July 28th-August 1st. I recieved it today. Not bad with free shipping and it ended up arriving 3 full days after I ordered it. Much to my amazement also, when I ordered my ipod touch, the next day the price dropped. This is an amazing piece of harware. The picture is outstanding, the sounds are amazing, and the new programs on it are something special. I was aware that version 2.0 came out and I wasn't expecting my ipod touch to have it. It would depend on when Apple ships out the Ipod touch with the new software upgrade. Many people were complaining that they didn't get the software upgrade they were expecting- 2.0. Please be aware that it all depends on what the supplier has. In Amazon's case, they probably still have the 1.1's. I haven't seen any reviewer say that they just bought their Ipod touch and it has version 2.0. If you went to Apple's website, possibly you would be able to buy an Ipod touch with the new software upgrade but I'm betting that the price will be somewhat higher. Amazon had the lowest price and my Ipod works like a charm. Out of the box, it was easy to set up. Itunes was a little slow to install but I think that it's just my anti-virus software that is holding things up. Very annoying! Setting up an itunes account was easy and synchonizing my ipod was a sinch. The touch screen is very sleek and responds gently to your touch. Going through all the programs that are pre-loaded is easy. As I said before, the picture quality is amazing. Wi-Fi is a very nice inclusion and the ability to check your email is fantastic. My wife and I love to eat at Panera Bread which has Wi-Fi. The only minus is that the metal underneath the nice screen easily can be covered with fingerprints. This might drive some people crazy, as for me, I just grunt or shrug my shoulders. The box does come with a cloth so; no problem! It is true that the Ipod touch is the most expensive out of all MP3 players but it's very sleek, easy to handle, easy to download songs on, and for anyone who likes to surf the internet or check their email; this is an outstanding product. I have a lot of cd's and time and time again they get scratched and repeat or don't play at all. It's time for me to put my cd's on my Ipod ( I did a few; it's easy!). I also bought this in preperation for my new car that has Microsoft Sync with an MP3 player jack. Enjoy!

   I purchased this product late April, and i just updated it for the 2.0 iphone software update, and its just great... you can play now great games and has a bunch of free applications available on the itunes store, amazon has a great deal on this ipod touch, because if you want to buy it on a retailer store, the price is 325.00 dlls with tax and the gas money for the car that you are driving, etc... Buy it in Amazon!!!

   Excellent buy, fast delivery. On products details does not mention it brings earphones and USB cable though, but it does. After I bought this one, I realized that for $60 more I could have got the classic 30G one, but I do like the fact of its size. Classics are way to big for my taste, so if you like a video ipod of an actual portable size, this is the choice for you.

   Very bad customer service, even after sending the defected product. I got the semi-defective product; after calling to the vendor's customer care, they behaved badly, and said if I will send the product back I have to pay for the shipping (with insurance), and even though they will not replace the product. It shows, first send the defective product and then instead of apologizing for sending the bad product, behave bad with the customer. sandeep

   I do agree with what most people have said for and against the iTouch. However, Apple batteries are real lousy. I didn't use my iTouch for over 1 week. To my surprise, the battery was dead!! For the prices Apple charges, they could have done better with their batteries.

   Pros: Easy to set-up, Great sound quality, Very intuitive-will switch from portrait to landscape by just turning the iPod, AWESOME picture when watching video, stores a ton of songs Cons: Must plug it into computer to recharge it or buy separate charger, after hours of use, headphones hurt my ears-I'll have to get another set, wi-fi will not work on my college's wireless Internet, have to look at it to adjust volume Great productivity tool. I can enter all my dates in it and it stores notes as well. When I'm home or at Caribou Coffee, I can easily access the Internet, check email, stocks, weather, Cubs scores, etc. I love it and would highly recommend getting one.

   Another great product from Apple. I never thought that a music player could be so powerful. The ability to add apps with the 2.0 update is well worth it! Also, the browser using wifi is almost flawless. Great alternative if you don't have AT&T and can't get the iphone....... this is almost as cool. The only downside is that I have another device that must be with me at all times!!!! Oh well, but it will be nice when the iphone is available through more carriers than AT&T! Until then, I highly recommend this device.

   Good purchase. Arrived on time quoted. 6th Generation IPod is better than the 5th (which I also have). Highly recommended. Only negative is the IPod occasionally freezes, and this is aggravating.

   great price. terribly slow shipping, after 2 weeks, it says its been damaged week and half later, i finally get my refund. free shipping = 2 weeks, cmon, id atleast expect ground where its 5-7

   I have to recharge the battery evey 4hrs after less than 40 min. talking time, and the WiFi is real slow. I CALL THIS A DESIGN WITH NO COMMON SENSE. Do not buy it yet! Wait until Apple fix the battery major problem first hand.

   This is my first Apple product. I used to own a Creative Zen (very cool device) but I cracked the screen and needed a new mp3/video player. I was planning on spending $150 for another 8 gig Zen but I had some extra cash and decided to try this. This device is very cool. The touch screen is nice (but gets dirty easily) I had to buy some clear covers (.50 each) and you definitely need a case. I recommend the DLO HipCase Leather Folio for iPod touch. Great case. The biggest problem I find with this device is iTunes. iTunes sucks. With my Zen I could dump anything on to my device. Dealing with iTunes is a headache. Unfortunately you pretty much have to use itunes unless you want to jump through a 1000 hoops. But the product is great. I recommend it. Highly.
