The Set arrived dented. Other then that the child is enjoying swinging on it. As she gets older, I' sure she will use the slide.

OK, they need to curve the end of the slide. My kiddo either lands on his feet because the slide is so steep and short and straight, then pops onto his face because of the speed the rest of his body is still moving at, or goes down the slide with his feet up and slams straight onto his butt. This is fine if you have a slippery padded gym mat under it, but not so great on carpet or wood or even grass. And I'm not sure how great that is for the babies long term to jolt that much shock through their spines if they are playing with this often (which you'd hope at this price). The swing looks good but only swings backwards. It does move forward and backward, but if you are in front of you child pushing him, it really only swings from the straight position to the back and back to the center position, because of the way the metal bars are bent. You can PULL them forward, but just pushing them it doesn't work that way. Plus the seat is so upright that when they sit in it, it automatically swings back a bit (makes it easy for them to stand out of it when they are unbuckled) -- so it's not the easiest to buckle them in, and they end up sitting uncomfortably after swinging a while. Sorry I"m not explaing this well but I would try this out at a brick and mortar shop before ordering it to see if it's really what you think you are getting. Yes, there is space to crawl underneath but it is really small. And if they crawl out one side, they'll run into the swing. The steering wheel (on a castle?? this is not a ship!!) seems to be fun to them, and the telescope seems to hold some interest (tilts and rotates), but those alone aren't worth the $$ and floor space. My toddler loves swings, loves slides, but not this one. You'd think Little Tikes has so much experience making these kinds of toys they would have perfected it by now, but this is really a step backwards for them. For a younger toddler, you have to be there all the time within arms' reach. For older toddlers, the swing is stupid and the rest of it boring.

We have had this toy for about 3 years. It was a gift from my Mother for my son who was 8-1/2 months old at the time. The slide is great, my son never had problem climbing and sliding over and over. BUT the seat of the swing broke after a short time where the screws are. I ended up just taking the swing portion off. What we were left with was the Little Tikes Climb & Slide Castle which is cheaper to buy and takes up less room. Save some money and buy that one insted of this one.

Durable toy and is great for my 2 year old girl, but not sure how long she would be able to use this as it is pretty small. One thing i dont like is that one of the swing is too close to the house portion of the playhouse....have to be very careful that their little hand does not rub on the house!

The assembly instructions for the swingset were of no use at all. We were missing pivot bolts (what swings hang from - no bolts, no swing)and had several broken plastic parts when we opened the box. So, we had to wait another 2 wks before we could assemble to swingset. The set itself is a great size for our 18 month old, but I question the stability of the "clubhouse". We bought this set with the idea that (1) it was small enough our son could play on it himself while we work/relax in the yard (2)it would only last a couple of years before upgrading to a larger wooden set. We now wish we had made the investment into the larger set from the start.

I like the swingset fairly well, and my daughter seems to like it too. It seems very sturdy, and well made. My first impression of it after I get it all put together was "man this is small". The slide is very little. But for the price compared with others, that should be somewhat expected. Although the swingset was not that difficult to put together, the instructions were not super clear (you can go to Little Tikes website to view them). Also, half of the plastic covers that go over the bolts broke while putting them on, and I was very careful with them. My biggest problem was that the swingset was missing 3 of the 4 pivot joint swing hangers. I called Little Tikes several times, but they were always either closed or at lunch. When I finally did get through, I would get voicemail that told me to redial the number and press a different option. I did finally get a person on the phone after about 12 attempts, and was told the parts I need are on backorder because the swingset is so new. So, to sum up my experience with this set, here are my pros and cons: Pros: Sturdy, clean and nice looking, fun for my two year old, not as time consuming to put together as other sets. Cons: Instructions have vague pictures, no words. Pictures of screws and bolts not actual size (makes it harder to tell if you are using the right hardware), missing parts, replacement parts on backorder, very small, customer service difficult to get in touch with. If I had to do it all over, I might would buy this swingset again. Even though it is small, it still serves its purpose, and my daughter loves it!

We wanted something to occupy our child in our yard instead of always wanting to visit the neighbors. The Mountain Climber is a nice size for a playfort, easy to assembly and incredibly durable. We couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. It has 3 different sides for climbing depending on the age and coordination of your child. At a family gathering four boys ages 3,4,5,7 all played together on it with smiles. Easy to clean with garden hose and lasted well outdoors through winter season.

I bought the little tikes adjustable mountain climber for my 2 year old. It is advertised for 2-8 year olds. Unfortunately, one side has a gigantic hole (due to lack of effective railing), and my child has lost her balance and almost broke her neck a few times by rolling off that side (fortunately, I raced to the side with the hole and rescued her in time). Since there are 4 sides, you really need at least 2 adults to watch the child so you can help the child climb up AND watch the dangerous side once they get up onto the platform. I would say a four year old is probably better on their feet to deal with the open platform with no effective railing side. However, the slide (even adjusted to the steepest angle) is not that steep, so a four year old would probably get bored. I even called Little Tikes to complain about this design defect (law suit waiting to happen!) and the consumer relations supervisor (G. Hines) just agreed with me and said there was nothing he could do about it.

I bought this for my 2yr. old daughter and I did extensive research on outdoor slides. My daughter absoultely loves it! I wanted to buy something that she wouldn't outgrow in a year and this is perfect. You can adjust the climber part in different ways and the slide goes to a higher incline for older children. I will admit it was HUGE! I have a 2003 Toyota 4-runner and I had to put down all the back seats, take all the pieces out of the box. Unless you have a large truck bed, you have to take it out of the box. As far as putting it together, it's pretty self explanatory except I suggest you have another person. Watch out for your grass (if you have nice grass) unless you move it around (2 ppl can) or have a non-grassy area, it leaves a square in your lawn where the grass will die. Other than that, I would highly suggest it..I got it for $199 (on sale)and it was well worth the price!

This truck is superb! We received it for my son's first birthday, 6 months ago and upon installation, we found a problem with the middle wheels not lining up and couldn't be properly installed. I took it back for a replacement and found the same problem. It was the same store though, so I'm making the assumption that they were from the same batch and just unlucky. I called Little Tikes and explained the problem. They took my information and put a request in to the warehouse to send me a replacement but to assemble it first. It took a very reasonable amount of time and the replacement came assembled with no problems. My 17 month old son LOVES this truck and still runs to it often as soon as he's up from sleeping. My 3 year old daughter plays with it as well and it's taken quite a bit of abuse. I think this is a GREAT first or second ride-on toy for the little ones. Oh and I shouldn't forget to mention that it does have some sounds through buttons on the steering wheel, but they're the most reasonable volume I've found on any toddler toy. Loud enough to be fun (and with two volume settings) but also quiet enough to not be obnoxious or overwhelming. Way to go Little Tikes, you're definitely at the top of my list!

My Son just got this yesterday for his 1st birthday and he's played with it pretty much non-stop. We've just left in the ride-on mode and he's thrilled with it. The 3 buttons for the noises are very easy to push so he's continually hitting them. It's really a great toy.

Fantastic! Easy operation from a truck to be pushed, ride-on with stearing and cool truck sounds from the three buttons on the stearing wheel, to a pull along wagon! The truck sound buttons work in all positions. My grandson adores this toy. Great pricing too! A MUST HAVE!
