Garmin n vi 760 Portable GPS Automobile Navigator
Garmin's n vi 700 series combines the high-end features of its n vi 600s with the integrated antenna and slim form factor it introduced with the entry-level n vi 200s. The n vi 760 packs top of the line features into a slim form factor. Wider screen lets you see more of what's around. Compare these actual size views of a 3-inch (diagonal) screen and a 4.3-inch diagonal widescreen What this means is that, as with the 600s, you'll get a gorgeous widescreen display, text-to-speech functionality that gives spoken directions with real street names, an integrated FM traffic information receiver, an MP3 player, a photo viewer, and an FM transmitter that will play all the n vi's audio, including voice prompts, MP3s, audio books, and more, directly through your vehicle's stereo system, but that, despite their impressive array of features, the 700s slip easily into a pocket. All of the n vi 700s come pre-loaded with maps for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The n vi 770 adds maps for Europe. New Features -- Route Planning Garmin has thrown some new features into the 700s as well. One of the niftiest is called "automated sorting for multiple destinations." Basically, this lets you enter several spots into the device (day care - supermarket-cleaners - office - day care, for example) and it will plot the fastest route. And once you've found the best router, the "Route Planning" feature lets you save up to 10 different routes, Garmin touts the feature for providing, "the most efficient route for errands, deliveries and sales calls." The feature also makes this an instant essential accessory for anyone who shops garage sales (you know what we're talking about). A trip log provides an electronic bread crumb trail of up to 10,000 points, so you can see where you've been on the map. First Rate Map Data The n vi 760 is preloaded with highly detailed City Navigator NT road maps for the entire United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico

I work part time as a Real Estate agent and this has been a life saver, litterly. I no longer have to try to read and drive at the same time. For family uses as well. Locates anything you are looking for. This item was recommended to me by clients of mine and what a great idea. And not to add the price was much better on Amazon.

Best navigation I have had , highly recommended vs the competition brands such as my older Magellan 850. this device comes with an FM traffic receiver there is another model that comes with an MSN receiver, depends on your needs the MSN receiver may give more info but also costs more per month, so make your decision prior. the Blue tooth feature is the reason I bought this model, it will connect to your phone and the device is like an Iphone extension all my contact, sms, and last calls can be done via the GPS it works flawlessly , however would be nice if speaker quality would be better, the optional FM transmitter is there which is better once you find a good station, but annoying to switch from my XM radio into FM when I want to here anything from the GPS, Wish I have a line in into my stereo would be best way to achieve quality sound out of this device.

I like the features of this product, the design is sleek and it's easy to use. Unfortunately, Garmin has issues with updating it's map data. I took a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC last week, 2 weeks after purchasing and updating the device via the internet. My wife was craving good seafood so we plugged in seafood as our search and after driving for 45 minutes around Myrtle beach, we found that several of the resturants no longer exhisted and that several streets had been added making driving very difficult. In one small area the device was constantly trying to update the route and we never left the beaten path. This can be frustrating if you are in an area you are not familiar with. Overall I think it's a great tool I just hope Garmin can get their act together and update map data.
