Sabir from Men’s Style Pro really knows his stuff. What kind of stuff? Men’s fashion. Most men aren’t exactly as fashion savvy as women, but this blog seeks to help those men in need of style advice. Men’s Style Pro provides men with information on how to dress based on Sabir’s style.

How did Men’s Style Pro get started?

On a late night in November 2010, Men’s Style Pro came to fruition. The idea for the site came from being involved with Esquire Magazine’s “Best Dressed Real Man in America” contest, where I was named the Fan Favorite and was featured in the September 2010 issue. It was great exposure to being featured in the magazine and was a great jumping point to step into the blogging world, specifically men’s style. People began pushing me into starting a men’s style blog that would educated men on how to dress well by showcasing my day-to-day style. I was hesitant at first, but, once I started rolling and I couldn’t stop.

What are you inspired by?

There are a lot of things that inspire me, however; the things that I am most inspired by is traditional collegiate wear, English business attire and the carefree Italian men’s style. Great brands like Polo by Ralph Lauren, Michael Bastian and J.Crew always give me inspiration for ideas of how I want to style looks for myself and others to help bridge the gap of work-wear and everyday casual wear.

Can you talk briefly about your projects? (Or favorite projects?)

I have started to do features on other stylish people on my site this month, which is something that I have done in the past. Some of my favorite projects have been posts that I have done with showing multiple ways to style certain wardrobe pieces. Currently, I am running a contest with Wurkin Stiffs giving one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of magnetic collars stays. Soon, I will be doing a giveaway with Dove Men’s Care to promote their new products. I have a major project in the works with a local Neiman Marcus, but, the details will remain secret for a little while.

What do you see in the future after Men’s Style Pro?

In the future expect to see more features on other stylish people outside of myself and some great collaboration with some major brands. My site has the potential to move toward a more editorial route leading into a more magazine format, which means there is room to expand the content I provide. Since I do a style consulting component for my site as well, my readers will be able to take advantage of Skype Consultation as a feature of Men’s Style Pro.

What do you love most about blogging?

The one thing I love the most about blogging is that my readers really enjoy the content that I offer. Because the site is ever evolving it has been great to see how far Men’s Style Pro has gone from day one. Blogging has become such a huge part of our culture, and when people recognize me on the street as Men’s Style Pro, it is pretty rewarding.
