I have been using it for about 3 weeks. The starter toner does not come with much ink as I needed to replace it already. That has been my only complaint. The copier is lightning fast and the fax really is easy to use. It even has a junk fax setting to filter out spam faxes.

Got this fax/answering machine for my small business & family of 4. The fax works great, prints clearly. Phone also works really good. User friendly, has TONS of options for settings, and has many features that I didn't expect. Would definately recommend this product and I am very happy with the purchase.

This fax machine does not connect with the dial tone from a live phone line with new cord.

Bar none the worst business machine I've ever owned. Like others have said, single faxes have to be forced into the slot to hopefully get them to feed. Multiple sheets go through three or four at a time. A complete waste of your money. I'm dumping it for a Brother 4100e.

When it works it's good but it rarely works. IMHO the Panasonic KX-FL511 Sucks, ie paper jam issues and worse, paper feed issues. Their tech support is even worse. I will never buy another Panasonic product.

Panasonics have always been fast and reliable for their document feeders, but instructions have always been substandard. There is no info about the LPT connection in the quickstart guide, need to read through the pdf files. The PC application for printing and faxing from the desktop as a printer fax driver work great and you can have an online address book too. Doubles as a backup 600 dpi laser printer, although slow, but fulfills that role. Using it as a scanner only works in B&W so dont expect much there. It is what its intended for mainly and the bonus of faxing from the desktop only adds to the value. The sheet feeder performs flawlessly. Practice with another fax nearby and have it do the tricks you want. There is a way to make your option changes stick, so take the time getting into the manuals!

Panasonic KX-FP145 Slim-Design Fax Machine with Answering System Item was purchased new and has continued to extract ALL pages...not one at a time. Contact with the factor indicates that there is no adjustment. I have to sit and feed one document at a time into the fax. The factory suggested that I return it...but having purchased it online, I had no receipt. William P. Hill

Panasonic never lets me down, of all the things working in my apt that have been around for years, its the panasonics. No doubt this brand will go out of business cause its so good and not making money because their products are rock solid and last so long. I love this fax mahine, it was cheap, and it rocks. Ive had it for like 3 years now I think so far. Its a great phone and fax. It has tons of features. I actually dropped it and it still works. Its taken abuse and still works. I will continue to buy their products, they are the best brand out there.

I purchased this Panasonic fax/answering machine as I have another in a vacation home. The other is cordless this is corded. The difference with this corded model is the sound quality on the answering machine is awful - both my husband and I have to listen many times to figure out the message. Also, I've noticed that you have to put one page in at a time to fax anything.
