   I purchased this case along with the camera prior to a Caribbean trip where we made 8 dives up to 80 feet. Had no problems with the housing (or camera - separate review of A650IS). The housing gives you access to all functions of the camera, including power on/off so you can load the camera in the comfort and dry air of your room. Instructions say to not leave the case sealed when not in use so the gasket doesn't lose its seal. As it may be months between uses, I am keeping the gasket ring in a small zip-lock bag, inside the housing which I lock shut. I plan to clean and re-apply the silicon grease before each dive trip.

   When I bought my Pentax camera it only came with one battery so I bought a charger and a generic battery to swap out when I ran out of juice. Since this is a proprietary battery and I often find myself off the beaten path in Alaska this is a good idea. Alas the generic one has already died but the original is still working fine. I bought two more genuine Pentax. Costs about double the generic but apparently YGWYPF. BTW, my Pentax Optio W20 is still GREAT, waterproof and tough!

   When I bought my camera I also purchased a generic battery. The Pentax battery has far outlasted the generic.

   I purchased my Pentax Optio digital when visiting the Carribean several years ago, and only just now had to replace the original battery! Am glad that I decided to replace with original equipment. Battery holds a charge FOREVER! Too risky to purchase generic, which would not have been as costly....but could never outshine the quality of the orignal equipment. Plus, it is great that Amazon offers free shipping on so many of their items. That is really a tremendous incentive to continue buying from them!

   I ordered the wrong item in error. Needed the battery charger, not the ac adapter. Had to pay for return shipping - amazon deducted the return shipping from the credit. My bad!

   Works great - was needed and made life a bit easier with the digital cam charging issues.

   This is a very good product. Using the ac adapter saves the life of your batteries, when you want to take videos. The only down side is the cord is short, so you have to add some kind of extension cord.

   My wife and I bought this housing, along with the Canon SD1100 itself, to take with us on our diving trip to Egypt. Unlike comparable, generic box-like housings offered by Ikelite, Fantasea, etc, the WP-DC22 is specifically tailored for the SD1100, and fit snugly in our camera bag along with our SLR and another point-and-shoot. On dives, the housing performed admirably to 30 meters (we didn't go any deeper) and provided easy, trouble-free access to all of the camera's controls and functions. The housing is slightly positively buoyant; not enough to be a nuisance in the water. Also, there's only one clasp to deal with when opening and closing the housing - another friendly convenience. If I have a complaint, it's that the back of the housing picks up scratches fairly easily, and renders the viewscreen somewhat difficult to see out of the water. That issue aside, I'd highly recommend this housing/camera combination to any recreational divers.

   Gets 4 stars because I believe this is way to much money to spend on some molded plastic, but does as promised (keep the shell o'ring lubed)
