Why?! Because You Have To
T minus one day and counting until couples all over the world put aside their gripes and differences for one magical day of loving bliss. The fabricated greeting card holiday that is Valentine’s Day, is fast upon us, and I am guessing that most of you fall into one of the following categories:
A) Meticulously planned every detail of the night, and have been rearing to go for weeks like a five year old on his first visit to Disney Land.
B) Quickly scrambling to call every flower shop, restaurant, and/or department store in hopes of lucking out on the last, highly coveted bouquet of dozen roses/dinner reservation/cashmere (fill in the blank with article of clothing).
C) Rummaging around the house, hoping that some DIY project screams “from the heart” and instantly puts you in the thoughtful, creative, and sensitive category.
D) Retreated to a sad, little corner, reeking of defeat from the overwhelming number of gift choices—chocolates, fragrances, engagement rings, oh my!
