112D (Thunderbolt AVB Digital Interface)

Audio Interfaces - The MOTU 112D is an incredibly flexible device. A digital audio interface, router, format converter, and stand-alone mixer - all in a roadworthy, rackmount 1U chassis, the 112D connects to your host computer through ultra-fast Thunderbolt technology, AVB Ethernet, or class compliant, high-speed USB 2.0 (with USB 3.0 and iOS compatibility). The 112D rocks 24 channels of AES/EBU digital I/O, 24 channels of ADAT optical digital I/O and 64 channels of MADI - that's a whopping total of 112 simultaneous digital I/O channels! Freely route anything, anywhere - all with near-zero latency. At Sweetwater, we've seen our share of feature-packed interfaces, but the 112D may just take the cake. Whether you work your audio magic in the studio or onstage, you owe it to yourself to check out the MOTU 112D.MOTU 112D at a Glance:112 simultaneous digital I/O channelsProdigious router and converterBig-console-style mixingRule your network112 simultaneous digital I/O channelsYou read that right. And all channels can be active simultaneously. Check it out: 64 channels of MADI - the 112D operates as a near-zero latency 64-channel MADI-to-AVB converter with flexible routing and splitting to/from your AVB network. Cool, but the plot thickens, with 24 channels of AES/EBU and ADAT up to 96kHz: three 8-channel banks (on D-sub) of AES/EBU at all sample rates up to 96kHz. Then there's ADAT optical, with three 8-channel banks at rates up to 48kHz and six banks (24 channels) of ADAT at 2x sample rates. Wow!Prodigious router and converterWith the MOTU 112D, you can route any input to any (or multiple) outputs - again, with vanishingly low latency. Freely route all 112 audio channels to and from your Mac or PC over Thunderbolt, or to/from any devices on the AVB network. So, we see that the 112D is indeed a prodigious router, but it's also a rockin' format converter that lets you convert any format to any other. Compatible formats include AES/EBU, optical, MADI, AVB, and computer audio (Thunderbolt or USB). Big-console-style mixingMOTU endowed the 112D with robust DSP that offers you big-console-style mixing with 48 channels, 12 stereo busses, and 32-bit floating-point effects processing that includes modeled analog EQ, vintage-style compression, and classic reverbs. You can even use the 112D as a stand-alone mixer and control the whole shebang from its innovative web app running on your tablet, smart phone, or laptop. Rule your networkConnect a second MOTU AVB interface (such as a 1248, 8M, 16A or another 112D) to the 112D with a simple Ethernet cable. You can add more I/O with the optional MOTU AVB Switch. Build your AVB audio network with multiple switches and sub-millisecond latency, even over lengthy cable runs. Stream hundreds of channels among the devices and computers on the network. In the studio or onstage, the 112D gives you flexible digital routing/conversion, state-of-the-art performance, and rock-solid reliability. You need it.MOTU 112D Features at

Model 141 (8-Ch ADAT-Analog Converter)

Signal Processing - The Aphex 141 is an excellent, cost-effective ADAT to analog converter. Have an ADAT-equipped preamp that you'd like to integrate into an analog system to take advantage of those eight channels? The Aphex 141 was expressly designed to make that D/A conversion, quickly giving you eight channels of 48kHz audio out and into your analog board. Just hook up anything with an ADAT out, and you're ready to go. Ultimately, when what you want is a reliable D/A conversion, time after time, look no further than the Aphex 141.Aphex 141 at a Glance:D/A WorkhorseBalanced outputsD/A WorkhorseThe Aphex 141 was designed from the ground up to do one job exceptionally well: convert eight channels of ADAT to analog output. And you can rely on the 141 for just that. Analog output is provided via standard TASCAM pinout.Balanced outputsThe analog audio outputs of the Model 141 are impedance balanced. This is a true balanced circuit, however audio signals appear only on the "+" connector pins. If driving a balanced input, connect the output pins "+" and "-" to the appropriate input connections. It is recommended that the ground be connected only at the receiving end. If driving an unbalanced input, connect "+" to the "hot" input and connect "G" to the ground connection at the receiving end. You can leave the "-" unconnected, or it can be tied to ground. Maximum output level is +24dBu.Aphex 141 Features:ADAT to analog conversion at 48kHzMax Input: 0dBfsMax Output: +24dBuTHD+Noise: -100dBDynamic Range: 114dBTrim Range: 12dBJitter: Count on the Aphex 141 for reliable ADAT to analog conversions! 320D Compellor (2-ch Compellor w/Digital I/O)

Live Sound Processing - The 320D Compellor audio level controller from Aphex fits into any broadcast, studio, or live sound rig and serves as a great way to compress and limit program material. This 1U rackmountable unit delivers intelligent compressor action, leveling, and peak limiting simultaneously to solve audio level problems and improve audio signals. The 320D Compellor converts between acting as two independent mono processors and one linked stereo processor by front panel selection. This is true with both analog and digital I/O. Get the most out of your audio with the 320D Compellor!Aphex 320D Compellor at a Glance:A/D or D/AProprietary Aphex TechnologyLegacyA/D or D/AThe 320D serves as a fine A to D converter with processing. When you use the analog input, the digital output contains the Compellor's processing and is ready for use in almost any application. Conversely, the 320D serves as a fine D to A converter. When you use the digital input, the analog output contains the Compellor's processing and is properly leveled and packaged. The professional analog audio inputs and outputs are fully balanced and adapt to consumer or professional operating levels at the touch of a button. Analog or digital source selection is made at the rear panel.Proprietary Aphex TechnologyThe Compellor circuits are totally unique. By throwing away all conventional design ideas, we created audio processing with unprecedented sound transparency yet is exceedingly effective at controlling levels. Because our designs are patented, no other company has been able to match the performance. Algorithms such as our DVG, DRC, and FDL have yet to find any rivals. Aphex engineering and manufacturing produce products that last and last without needing repairs or calibration. Some Compellors have literally been in 24-hour use in the same rack for a decade, or longer! When you specify a Compellor, you know it will do its job flawlessly and give you peace of mind.LegacyThe first Compellor was introduced in 1983 as an analog product. Because of their advanced technology, most of those older units are still in regular use. Since that time, newer models have been produced, still in analog form. Digital technology of today promises many improvements in user interfaces, and sometimes in sound quality, but not in audio processing algorithms. No digital processor can match an analog Compellor for sound quality and effectiveness. Nevertheless, many of today's systems need a Compellor that can interface to digital audio. With the Model 320D, Aphex brings you just that. You get all the advantages of the analog processor with AES3 connectivity.Aphex 320D Compellor Features:Frequency Discriminate Leveler: No bass pull-back in musicDynamic Release ComputerDynamic Verification Gate: Adds greater transparencySilence Gate: Locks gain when audio stopsProcess Balance: Lets you have any combination of leveling and compressionTrue Bypass: No electronics in bypassAES3 I/O up to 96kHzAnalog I/O:
