Di2 Battery Charger

If you're going to have Shimano electronic Di2, you must have the compatible Shimano SM-BCRI Battery Charger to keep it up and running. As the battery is shared between Ultegra and Dura-Ace, this is the same charger for both systems. The nice thing about the charger is that it's small, like a camera battery charging dock. You plug the charger in, provided you've also purchased the SM-BCCI-2 Power Cable, push the battery in vertically, and the charger does the work. When the charger is working, you'll see a glowing LED indicating it is charging. When the battery is charged, the unit turns off and the light goes out. Pop the battery out of the charger, back onto the mount on your bike, and you should be good for another 1,000 or more miles of effort-free shifting. You won't damage the battery by either leaving it in too long or popping it in for a partial charge. The folks at Shimano tell us that if you're concerned your battery is low on juice right before you go on a ride, charge the battery for 15 minutes while you kit up for the ride, and you should be good for up to a couple of days.

Full-9 Helmet Infrared Intake, L

With Bell's long history in motosports, it's not surprising that the new Full-9 was developed with the same expertise gleaned from its motorcycling heritage. Engineers at Bell incorporated many of the advanced design characteristics from its flagship Moto-9 when building the new bike-specific helmet, along with over a year's worth of feedback gathered from professional downhill riders. The result is a bike-tuned, best-in-class full-face helmet that's ready to take on anything that you'll encounter while on your mountain or BMX. The shell of the Full-9 was built with a unidirectional carbon, Kevlar, and a fiberglass blend. This yields an incredibly light, yet durable outer-material that doesn't weigh you down and cause the fatigue that many other full-face helmets are known for. Underneath the Full-9's shell, Bell added its fully-removable X-Static Magnefusion cheek pads. You can also enable what Bell calls its 'Eject System,' which, in the event of an injury, provides safe and easy removal of the helmet due to a recess in the EPS that allows the cheek pads to quickly slide out. Another innovative design within the helmet's internal structure is the Overbrow Ventilation system. Combined with the shell's 10 vents, this intake system was adopted from Bell's moto-proven Velocity Flow Ventilation. Basically, this is a means to actively channel cool air over the head through three ports on the brow of the helmet. The design is suspended over your head inside the helmet in order to keep the ducting free from obstruction, which results in keeping you fully ventilated and cool as you ride. The Full-9 takes its design cues from the motocross circuit, but its modern integrated features reflect exactly what top bike riders demanded in a full-face design. Bell listened, and it packed the Full-9 with elements to keep you both safe and to enhance your overall riding experience. Take, for example, the helmet's removable camera mount. This integrated mount seamlessly connects ...
