Overdrive Expert 29er Mountain Bike - Nashbar Exclusive

Diamondback Overdrive Expert 29er Mountain Bike - Nashbar Exclusive. Your ticket to fun and fitness at a fabulous price has arrived - the Diamondback Overdrive Expert 29er mountain bike. It's trail-ready plus light, comfortable, and versatile enough to be your do-all bike for any purpose - be it commuting, a trek down the local greenway, or simply exploring the neighborhood. The Overdrive Expert's foundation is a 6061-T6 aluminum alloy frame featuring tubing formed and butted for both strength and light weight. What this means out on the trail or on the road is that you're piloting a nimble, maneuverable machine. You'll revel in the comfort and precision steering supplied by the SR Suntour XCT suspension fork featuring a plush 100mm of travel to smooth out rough terrain. The fork also sports an external lockout feature that enables you to maximize power transfer in situations where suspension isn't necessary, such as climbing or rolling along on asphalt or other smooth, hard-pack surfaces. There's also an external preload adjustment to further dial in the fork's performance. A 3x8-speed Shimano drivetrain means 24 smooth and responsive shifting options for steep climbs, quick accelerations, or prolonged efforts. This makes for excellent performance when pedaling off-road on strenuous terrain as well as easy, comfortable trips across town. And rest assured you can stop quickly and safely with a set of Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes delivering plenty of power and control. The 29er's large-diameter wheels are ideal for rolling smooth and fast over rough terrain and the Overdrive Expert certainly delivers with a splendid wheelset. There's some ultra-reliable SL7 aluminum doublewall rims, 32-hole SL7 aluminum hubs, plus tried-and-true 14g spokes laced in a 3x pattern. This all equates to a rugged set-up that's built to tame any terrain - exactly what you'll be doing on each and every outing.

Recoil Comp 29er Mountain Bike

Diamondback Recoil Comp 29er Mountain Bike. There's nothing quite like a stellar full-suspension mountain bike to smooth out the trails and the Diamondback Recoil Comp 29er will certainly inspire you to ride with verve and gusto. The frame is built using trusted 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, so you know it's strong, while the formed and butted tubing makes sure to save weight wherever possible. The SR Suntour XCR RL suspension fork delivers a plush 100mm of travel while the RockShox Monarch R's four inches of rear suspension will do wonders to take the edge off roots, rocks, and ruts. The all-Shimano drivetrain is the paragon of precision and reliability. The 3x8-speed Altus Rapidfire shifters make clicking through the gears a breeze while the Altus/Alivio derailleur setup keeps nailing every shift no matter the conditions out on the trail. The triple 42/34/22T chainring arrangement coupled with an 11-32T cassette ensures you've got the low end to claw your way up the steepest ascents and then put your bike to the test on the way back down. And with a set of rock-solid Shimano M355 hydraulic disc brakes you've got superb stopping power right at your fingertips. Big, 29 wheels keep on turning as they reduce rolling resistance and decrease the angle of attack by allowing you to better roll over obstacles, like logs or rocks. The Recoil Comp serves up a bombproof wheel option sporting reliable SL-7 aluminum doublewall rims, 32-hole SL-7 aluminum hubs, plus tried-and-true 14g spokes laced in a 3x pattern. Rounding out the wheelset is a set of Schwalbe Rapid Rob 29x2.25 tires that sport an aggressive, all-around tread pattern for incredible bite plus a kevlar belt to maximize puncture resistance.

Single-Speed 29er Mountain Bike

Nashbar Single-Speed 29er Mountain Bike. Gears? You don't need no stinkin' gears! There's no time like the present to join the single-speed party and the Nashbar Single-Speed 29er mountain bike will most assuredly provide your ticket to ride. Its 6061 aluminum frame is lighter than steel, impervious to weather, and provides plenty of strength to boot. The front end features a rigid chromoly fork that's also incredibly tough and delivers steel's famously smooth ride quality. Tektro Novela mechanical disc brakes handle the stopping detail with aplomb and are super-reliable no matter how sloppy the conditions get out in the woods. The bigger 29 hoops will have you rolling easy over obstacles while a set of WTB Nano Sport tires are a marvelous all-around choice -- super-speedy on hardpack but still plenty of reliable, predictable grip when you lean into turns. A 680mm wide aluminum bar means there's plenty of leverage when you have to get out of the saddle to muscle the 32x18 gear up a climb. A blast to ride, simple to maintain, and a guaranteed fun factory on every outing, you may never want to deal with shifters, derailleurs, and cassettes again.

Carbon 29er Mountain Frame

Nashbar Carbon 29er Mountain Frame. While you'd be correct in considering this sculpted, carbon fiber masterpiece worthy of hanging on your wall to admire, the Nashbar Carbon 29 Mountain Frame is most assuredly a trail-conquering rocket ship awaiting a test pilot to fully put it through its paces. The 3k carbon fiber construction is plenty light, plenty stiff and packs a mean aesthetic punch with its stealth black palette. We've dotted all the Is and crossed all the Ts with internal cable routing for front and rear shift cables (the rear extends through the top tube and continue down the right chainstay), the ability to run a full cable housing from lever to caliper for the rear disc brake, plus a massive bottom bracket shell ready to rock a PF30 bottom bracket. This carbon 29er frame is truly a blank canvas awaiting the build of your dreams. And whether you're inclined to go the gram-shaving cross country route or a stouter enduro option regarding components, Nashbar's truly got you covered in the build it from scratch department. Buy it, build it, and bomb trails to your heart's content.

AT29 29" Mountain Bike Twenty Niner

Nashbar AT29 29 Mountain Bike. It's so easy to catch 29er fever with the brand-new Nashbar AT29 29 Mountain Bike. Whether you're looking to hot dog it through the local trails, or catch up on your fitness, the AT29 is a machine engineered to be tough and designed to bring the fun. First off, let's talk about the AT29's frame. Its 6061 Aluminum tubing is the industry standard for mountain bike and road bike quality -- the only way to go up is to carbon fiber, which is a lot more expensive. 6061 is tough, light, and can be fashioned to give flex in all the right areas for superior control and riding comfort. Working in tandem with the sweet frame is a Suntour XCT suspension fork with a lockout lever and 100mm of travel -- that means you can speed over all kinds of roots, rocks, and obstacles and your front end will soak it up with glee. And when you have to ride on asphalt to and from the trails the hydraulic lockout lever on the crown is a convenient means to turn the fork rigid in terrain when suspension isn't necessary. The AT29 is also no joke when it comes to its component selection as there are plenty of industry leading brands throughout. Changing gears is a piece of cake on the 24-speed drivetrain with trusty Shimano derailleurs front and rear coupled with Shimano trigger shifters on the bars. The SR Suntour XCR SIX crankset features a tried-and-true 44/32/22t chainring selection and coupled with a wide-range 11-32t cassette on the rear wheel you've got the arrows in your quiver to not only scale the steepest of ascents without scorching your lungs and legs but also enough high end gearing to jump into warp drive on the way back down. And there's no worries when you need to drop out of hyper-drive as the Tektro Novella disc brakes are top notch when it comes to reliable stopping power in any conditions. The flip-flop aluminum stem and aluminum 680mm-wide riser bar ensure a perfect ergonomic fit and both are lightweight and dependable. Alex alloy rims are top quality and their DC19 model laced to 32-hole alloy hubs with bombproof straight gauge spokes inspire confidence and trusty, predictable handling over any terrain. Kenda Klaw XT tires sport aggressive knobbies perfect for digging in, cornering, and cruising with ease while the knobbies' wide spacing means they shed mud like a champion.

Enduro 29er Red, 15mm Front/12x142 Rear - Hyperglide

Nobody likes flimsy wheels, especially if you're riding a 29er, where wheel flex is most apparent. But with its proprietary aluminum spokes and a burly, yet lightweight rim shape, there's no reason to fear flex with the Industry Nine Enduro 29er Wheelset. They may be as light as other companies' race wheels, but the Enduro wheelset is built to withstand real world use under aggressive riders. And that translates into confidence in your wheels, no matter how hard you're pushing it. While traditional spokes are drawn from steel wire, I-9 spokes are machined from 7075 aluminum. The spokes are straight-pull, and they have roughly a 25% greater cross section then comparable 14/15 double butted steel spokes. This translates into greater tensile strength. Threading on these spokes is also exclusive to Industry Nine. On traditional spokes, threads are rolled, not cut. This adds to strength, but it also creates a stress riser where the thread channel is narrower than the diameter of the spoke itself. However, Industry Nine doesn't need to roll its threads. Instead, they're created during the machining process, only they're cut so that the thread channel is the same as the spokes diameter. The threads themselves are actually larger than the spoke in order to create a strong interface with the hub. But, that's not all that I9 did to improve the Torch. The new Torch hubs are now compatible with all axle standards via separately available end caps. The big news, however, is within the hub. The Torch preserves the 120 points of contact and the three degrees of near-instant engagement that's earned Industry Nine its cult following. Only now, the pawls have two teeth instead of three. Along with that, a changed cantilever angle, and a shallower tooth profile on the hardened drive ring, reduce freehub drag in comparison to prior iterations. Additionally, the Torch hubs incorporate a proprietary mechanism that features two sets of three pawls that are phased three degrees from e...

Mach 429SL Carbon Mountain Bike Frame - 2015 Matte Black/Red, M

We might as well say this first -- the Pivot Mach 429SL Carbon drops a half-pound from its predecessor, the Mach 429 Carbon. To a man/woman, the original 429 Carbon was lauded by our crew for its combination of climbing ability and descending prowess, and for its eagerness to be driven hard. On the trail, it was the stiffest bike we could find in the short-travel 29er crowd. The few dissenting opinions regarding that bike came from Lycra-wearing types compelled to cut grams at all costs, who cited the 429 Carbon's weight as a limiting factor. Now there's little left to argue about. With the 429SL, weight weenies no longer have an excuse to pass the incomparable 429 by.Pivot achieved a half-pound lighter weight for the 429SL via its use of proprietary hollow-core, internal-mandrel technology, the same process that was employed for the 429 Carbon. Pivot scrutinized its 429 layup, refining both the structure and the composite materials used. As a result of those efforts, the podium-hungry Mach 429SL Carbon is one of the lightest full-suspension bikes Pivot has ever made (5. 3lbs, min). But if you think Chris Cocalis and co. would sacrifice ride quality for a number on the scale, think again. To Pivot, stiffness comes first. Expectedly, the 429SL tracks over rough terrain with unwavering accuracy. Hard corners, off-camber landings--if you feel some flex from the Mach 429SL, it's almost guaranteed to be coming from the wheels/tires, and that gives you ample control to ride at the edge of sanity.Suspension duties for the Mach 429SL are handled by the proven DW-link design, which yields 100mm of smooth travel while counteracting speed-robbing pedaling forces. This translates to race-worthy acceleration and consistent contact with the trail. Stand up and stomp on the pedals and you'll be amazed at the grip you get on loose dirt. Because Pivot worked closely with FOX on the FLOAT CTD Kashima shock tune, your suspension and shock will combine to provide travel that's respo...

X0 2x10 Low Direct Mount - S3 Front Derailleur Top Pull, 39t

The SRAM X0 2x10 Low Direct Mount S3 Front Derailleur is specifically designed to work in conjunction with SRAM's 2x10 cranksets. The cage itself is shorter and narrower than a triple-specific changer -- great news for modern 29er frames where clearance between rear suspension and front derailleurs is paramount. SRAM's S3 designation means that this front derailleur is compatible with the current crop of E2 style direct mounts found on frames from Yeti, Niner, and Pivot. It's made to handle up to a 15-tooth differential between the big and little chainrings. The aluminum links that shape the swing of the derailleur cage have widely spaced pivots for an incredible level of stiffness. The rigidity inherent in the derailleur's parallelogram is part of what makes X0's front shifting so quick and efficient. The derailleur cage is made from steel for maximum durability, and it's also shaped for an optimized working relationship with SRAM's X-Glide chainrings. The SRAM X0 2x10 Low Direct Mount S3 Front Derailleur is available as either top or bottom pull versions for 39 or 42 tooth configurations. For mounting, it bolts straight into a Shimano-style Direct Mount on your frame.
