Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 Wine

2006 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon combines full body and richness with moderate alcohol. It has a garnet color and a nose of cassis liqueur, nutmeg and dark chocolate. On palate, it has a rich, mouth-coating attack, great expression of fruit, a full-body and beautifully integrated tannins that lead to a long, spicy finish. Given proper cellaring, this wine will give drinking pleasure through 2026. Vintage Description 2006 winter and spring were marked by heavy rains: March had most rain days on record. Indeed early season was quite wet and rains extended well into April. weather became dry and warm by late spring and bloom conditions were ideal. early summer will be remembered for a searing 10-day heat wave in July, but August and September were mild, which coupled with normal yields led to a slow prolonged ripening. We began picking in Alexander Valley on September 12th and concluded harvest on October 17th. Blending and Aging Our 2006 Alexander Vall Wilfred Wong of Wine.com rating: 92.

Grange 2009 Wine

Australian Wine Companion rating: 97. Grange is arguably Australia's most celebrated wine and is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. Grange boasts an unbroken line of vintages from experimental 1951 and clearly demonstrates synergy between Shiraz and soils and climates of South Australia. Penfolds Grange utilises fully-ripe, intensely-flavored and textured Shiraz grapes. result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one of most consistent of world's great wines. Grange style is original and most powerful expression of Penfolds multi-vineyard, multi-district, blending philosophy. Youthful at rim. Dense magenta. At once Grange formic, assertive, powerful with overt barrel-ferment markers. Bright, and noticeably fragrant/perfumed at this time of tasting, in its fifth year immediately prior to release. Racy red fruits clasp onto red liquorice, aniseed aromatics. Red meats with pepper and spice, rumtopf. Patiently, panforte/mascarpone/malt/dried fig aromatics appear in a second wave.

Cotes de Castillon 2003 Bordeaux Red Blends Wine

summer heat wave undoubtedly left its mark on this vintage. Very deep purplish-red colour. oak component comes through first and foremost on nose at this stage, with mocha and roasted aromas. However, there is bright, attractive jammy fruit (reminiscent of blackberry preserves) in background, just waiting to open up. 2003 Clos les Lunelles is fairly massive on palate, with considerable richness typical of vintage as well as a tight tannic texture. There is a velvety quality on middle palate and a very long aftertaSainte tannin is quite round and ripe. This wine can be enjoyed as of now, but it is also advised to keep back a few bottles for 3-5 years. Such patience will be richly rewarded. The Wine Advocate rating: 92.

Sancerre Les Monts Damnes 2013 Sauvignon Blanc Wine

white, chalky soils of Mont Damns could blind an innocent passerby on a sunny day - here pure Kimmeridgian terroir is what gives this wine its kick, its poise and its persistence. Without question one of more chiseled and pure Monts Damnes, with lots of middle-palate energy. White pepper, dried flowers, sea breezes and white peach juice on nose; mouth is both savory and saline, with stony persistence and a wave of Meyer lemons and more white peaches. We always love hint of cherries on palate, as it's a sign of a truly complex and noble white wine. Vinous / Antonio Galloni rating: 89.

Renovation in every sense - estate, vineyard, winery, barrel cellar, and the fundamental approach to making wine means that Chateau Teyssier is widely regarded as a new-wave, modern-style wine from Saint Emilion. Most importantly the wine is now sought after by a loyal following.Eighty-five per cent Merlot with the remainder being met by Cabernet Franc, the wine originates from the communes of Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens and Vignonet. These communes provide terroir that produce a wine that may be attacked on release or laid down for a few years. The approach in winemaking, which has all the benefits of the modern equipment afforded by the more senior wines, is new world in style.Chateau Teyssier, is award winning, spicy, velvety, and ripe, but above all, pivots on its expression of fruit..

Retsina is traditional wine of Greece since antiquity. It has its own unique style due to addition of a quantity of resin from pine tree Pinus Halepensis during fermentation. Therefore, European wine legislation has recognized it as a wine with Traditional Appellation that can only be produced in Greece.
