Air Conditioning Hose - Suction: The perfect replacement hose for your vehicle for BMW...

Air Conditioning Hoses, just like every other component in your vehicle, can wear down over time. If one of your hoses has a leak, you may notice your air conditioning getting warmer over time. The compressor will cycle on and off much faster than normal and eventually, you will lose your air con.If you are noticing this in your vehicle, visually inspect your hoses for cracks, rusty fittings and residue. Oily residue can be a sign of faulty hoses because oil from the compressor will get all over the outside of them as it’s carried with the refrigerant. If you’re working on your air conditioning hoses, ECS Tuning recommends changing all of your O-Rings that go in between the fittings, as well as the Receiver – Drier, which should be changed during any air conditioning service. Fits: BMW E39 525i

A/C Receiver Drier : 4 Line Fittings for Mercedes Benz

The primary function of the receiver/drier in your A/C system is to receive and store some liquid refrigerant from the condenser. This liquid refrigerant settles on the bottom of the receiver/drier where a pickup tube with a filter screen on it picks it up and sends it to the inlet of the expansion valve. The receiver/drier acts as an accumulator in this function, storing extra refrigerant and oil during periods of low cooling demand on the A/C system. The receiver/drier also contains desiccant, which pulls moisture from the refrigerant in order to keep the A/C system free from contaminants. If you are working on your A/C system, and must open the system for any reason such as replacing the compressor, condenser or even a refrigerant line, it is highly recommended that the receiver/drier be replaced. Fits: Mercedes Benz C230
