Zinfandel Teldeschi 2012 750ml

This wine is from United States, California region, Sonoma County sub-region and Dry Creek Valley appellation. 96 PTS - Connoisseurs' GuideRegardless of its high Petite Sirah content, this always special bottling delivers, year in and year out, one of the purest expressions of Zinfandels berry-like fruit that crosses our tasting table. In this vintage, one that has not always been kind to the variety, the wine tops the charts again with a full-bodied, noticeably tannic composition that is lifted by its deep and keenly focused blackberry fruit, and by the way it manages to exude power and inner strength yet is never the least bit overdone.92 PTS - Wine EnthusiastThis is classic Dry Creek Zin-robust, heady, rich in tannins, spicy and insanely flavorful. Explodes with briary, brambly wild berries, mocha, tobacco, anise, dried pine needles and exotic sandalwood notes. Really delicious now, and should age well over the next 10 years, gradually mellowing and shedding fruit and tannins.92 PTS - International Wine CellarOpaque purple. Potent black and blue fruit aromas are complicated by notes of candied flowers, licorice and Asian spices. Sappy, deeply pitched blackberry and boysenberry flavors of great clarity pick up weight with aeration. Rich but animated zin, with excellent finishing breadth, sweetness and length.90 PTS - Wine SpectatorVibrant and zesty, with bright raspberry and cinnamon aromas and focused, briary flavors of cherry, cedar and cracked white pepper. Finishes on a crisp mineral note.90 PTS - Wine & SpiritsGrown on benchland vineyards planted in 1905 and 1910, this wine includes carignane and petite sirah. Its concentrated red fruit flavor is overlain with blueberry and blackberry scents, its meaty and powerful tannins carrying a dark fruit extract that tastes like blueberry skins. This is meaty and ferrous, needing bottle age to settle.Winemakers NotesThe mostly old vines that make up the Teldeschi vineyard are Zinfandel, Carignane, and Petite Sirah, a melange typical of older vineyard plantings in California. The three varieties are fermented separately and blended to taste. The winemaking style brings out the best of the vineyard-power and big flavors. Teldeschi Vineyard is always the highest quality of the Zinfandel vineyards that Ravenswood crushes from the Dry Creek Valley. ZINFANDEL Wine CALIFORNIA STILL WINE

Zinfandel 2012 750ml

This wine is from United States, California region, Lake County sub-region and Red Hills appellation. The Red Hills appellation of Lake County is prime Zinfandel country, and there's no better site for it than Snow's Lake Vineyard, whose 2,000-foot-plus elevation make it a unique growing site in Lake County. We have three distinctive clones of Zinfandel planted at Snow's Lake, including heritage selections from Mendocino and Amador counties and a Primitivo clone. The vines are rooted in magnificent, red volcanic soils and enjoy a perfect southwestern exposure. Warm sunny days and nights cooled by breezes from nearby Clear Lake provide ideal conditions for California's heritage grape variety.. This wine showcases bright raspberry, black cherry and dark plum aromas complemented by intriguing dusty earth, black pepper and milk chocolate scents. The rich and lively palate delivers pure, deeply concentrated black raspberry, dark cherry and blackberry flavors streaked with mineral and briary spice tones. Beautifully structured with sturdy, but supple tannins, fresh acidity and a long, rich, chocolate-y finish, this is delightful to drink now, but will surely repay another 3-5 years of cellaring. Zinfandel Old Vines Reserve 2012 750ml

This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Napa Valley appellation. In 1926, the Kautz family began farming in Lodi, California and in 1948 Ironstone Vineyards was founded by John Kautz. Starting with 12 acres, John quickly built a reputation as a premium wine grape grower, amassing over 5,000 acres of vineyards planted in Lodi and the Sierra Foothills and eventually becoming one of the top ten wine grape growers in California. In 1988, John, his wife Gail and their children decided to produce their own wine. While still maintaining grape sales to top wineries around the world, they hired winemaker Steve Millier and launched Kautz Wines, which would evolve into Ironstone Vineyards. Today, Ironstone is among the ten largest family owned wineries in California. The vineyards benefit from over 30 years of sustainable viticultural practices, including cover crops and compost, owl boxes and raptor perches and riparian habitat restoration. The key varieties are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Symphony and Merlot. There are parcels of Petite Sirah, Malbec, Syrah and Verdelho grown as well. The vineyards in the Sierra Foothills are planted on red volcanic soil at 2,300-2,600 feet and the Lodi vineyards are planted at 50-590 feet on sandy loam, clay and gravel. In 2012, John Kautz and Kautz Farms were recognized as Grower of the Year by the California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG). ZINFANDEL Wine California Still Wine

Zinfandel 2010 Wine

We co-fermented Zinfandel with a touch of Petite Sirah to add complexity and structure, and then aged wine in large oak casks so flavors are well integrated but not overwhelmed by oak. This food-friendly Zinfandel's flavors of strawberries, red plums, orange zest, and a hint of white pepper make it perfect match for grilled meats, lasagna, pizza topped with tomato sauce, and beef stews.

Zinfandel 2012 750ml

This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Napa Valley appellation. Brown Estate Vineyards is entirely a family affair. Located in the Chiles Valley appellation of Napa, California, the 450 acre estate was founded in 1985, but released its first vintage a year after siblings Coral, Deneen and David Brown established a winery on their family’s property in 1995. The family planted 50 acres to vine in 1985, selling fruit to Green & Red Vineyard, T-Vine Cellars and Mike Grgich of Grgich Hills Estate with a side benefit of David and Deneen apprenticing with the winemakers to whom they sold their fruit. Brown Estate is housed in an impeccably restored, old stone and redwood barn that was built in 1859. The cave is tunneled into a hillside of solid rock. In addition to Zinfandel, the Brown family produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Petite Sirah..

Todd Brothers Ranch Zinfandel 2011 Wine

One of biggest and darkest wines made at Dashe Cellars, Todd Brothers Ranch Zinfandel comes from a stellar old vine vineyard located in Geyserville in Alexander Valley. These old vines, planted over 50 years ago, consistently pump out some of our best and most long-lived Zinfandel bottlings. difficult growing conditions of these steep red rock slopes make vines struggle to produce a small quantity of grapes, resulting in a zinfandel that is almost Cabernet-like in intensity and structure. Truly a steak-house wine - drink it with heart meals! Wine Enthusiast rating: 90.

Rock Wall Zinfandel Reserve Monte Rosso Vineyard 2010 750ml

This wine is from United States, California region, Sonoma County sub-region. California Zinfandel aficionados have long revered bottlings of the varietal from the legendary Monte Rosso Vineyard in the Sonoma Valley AVA. Located on the southwest side of the Mayacamas mountain range, near the town of Agua Caliente, vineyard elevations range from 700 to 1,240 feet. The name Monte Rosso means ‘red mountain', which is quite apparent if you look at the color of the ground soil, it is truly red. Several blocks of old-vine Zinfandel planted as early as 1890, are still bearing. Now owned by Gallo, this prestigious vineyard is sought after by many, but only garnered by a few lucky folks. Our block in the beautiful Monte Rosso Vineyard has 108-year-oldvines and is located about 1600 feet above Sonoma Valley on Moon Mountain. The mountain is all red soil from the iron and clay deposits. If you are a vine, this is a great place to grow. ZINFANDEL Wine California Still Wine
