Crossroc 27.5" WTS - Pair - OE

A fine intersection between wheel sizes (fitting in nicely between 26ers and 29ers) and value (stacking up with equal consideration to weight, strength, and value), the Mavic Crossroc 27. 5" WTS is a wheel and tire system designed to confidently crush a wide variety of terrain under a wide variety of riders. The Crossroc WTSs' S6000 aluminum is slightly heavier than the Maxtal aluminum used in Mavic's top-end wheels, but it still makes for more than enough power transfer for those of us who are self-sponsored. The spokes are also a step down from the top-end models, using steel spokes with brass nipples instead of the Zicral aluminum found on Crossmax builds. These small differences result in the paltry weight addition of around 150 grams -- hardly something to lose sleep over. Compared to the Crossroc XL 27. 5s, they lose 1 millimeter of width and a claimed 60 grams of weight, so you'll accelerate with more snap out of switchbacks and enjoy less inertial resistance on climbs. Mavic's Transfer System 2 (TS2) hubs are the main focus of the Crossroc WTS wheels. As opposed to the Crossmax's four pawl setup, the Crossroc's freehub uses two pawls that engage simultaneously. The hyperglide body that comes standard on the rear wheel is compatible with all Shimano mountain groups and SRAM's nine- and ten-speed mountain groups. It can be converted for use with SRAM's 11-speed groups using an optional kit. The rims get Mavic's H2 treatment, which consists of hammer hardening the rim to reinforce the points where spoke tension is greatest. The Crossroc 27. 5 WTS rocks Mavic's UST system, so you can run them with tubes or you can take advantage of the smoothness, low-weight, and fewer flats associated with a tubeless ride. The included Crossroc Roam tires have a middle-of-the-road 60a compound for all-around functionality that's further buttressed with an additional layer to ward off flats. They're also Mavic's lightest tire, which complements the rim's light weight.

CYCLEOPS Fluid2 Trainer

If its important to you to make every workout count the CycleOps Fluid2 trainer is the most valuable weapon you can add to your indoor training arsenal. CycleOps? engineers designed the Fluid2 to capture real road feel through the use of a 2.75 lb individually precision?balanced flywheel for more momentum and stability of your rear wheel. They have also adjusted fluid levels for better resistance and improved the position of sealed?cartridge bearings for better inertia and an ultra-quiet ride that ensures increased wattage as you increase your speed. And just like riding outside simply shift gears to increase or decrease resistance. When you spin your wheels on the Fluid2 it feels like youre actually getting somewhere. Stop logging junk miles and start employing our exclusive PowerTuned technology?the result of scientific and athletic collaboration. Now riding the trainer feels more like riding on the road because your wheel accelerates and decelerates on an infinite resistance curve just like it does outside. Professional cyclists and renowned scientist Allen Lim worked together to develop a power curve based on a hybrid of road and time trial positions finding the point at which a speed of 25 mph overlaps with an output of 400 watts. This point of overlap is where the optimal power curve resides and is the basis for PowerTuned technology. By training on a PowerTuned curve you benefit from the most true-to-life speed verses power contingency no matter what speed you ride at. Racing Zero 2-Way Fit Road Wheelset - Clincher Black/White, CAMPY

As the flagship wheel in the 2-Way Fit series, the Fulcrum Racing Zero 2-Way Fit Wheelset are 50 grams lighter than the Racing 1 wheels and come equipped with carbon hubs. You'll dance your way up arduous climbs and enjoy the swift descent knowing these wheels can handle high speeds through switchback-filled mountain passes. Though the sister wheels of the same name are built with an identical design, the versatility of the 2-Way Fit rim construction gives you the option of running your wheels as clinchers or tubeless. 2-Way Fit is Fulcrum's way of describing the rim construction that is suitable for both tubeless and clincher tires. Tubeless tires have been used in the mountain bike world for years for the superior ride they provide. Running your wheels tubeless provides superior traction since you can run the tires at a lower pressure without worrying about rolling the bead off the rim. Additionally, running a tubeless set up on your road bike eliminates the pinch and snake bite flats you'd get with regular clinchers. These benefits are akin to what you get from tubular tires, but with an easier instillation process. The Racing Zero hubs use a carbon fiber/aluminum shell construction, reducing weight in comparison to the Racing 1's full-aluminum construction. The lightness theme carries through the smallest details, including aluminum axles and bladed aluminum spokes that mate to alloy nipples. When you look at the rims together, you'll notice they differ slightly in depth. The front sits 26 mm deep and the rear, 30mm. These small depth differences make cross winds less noticeable, and on the rear wheel, give you better power transfer. Both rims have been machined between the spoke holes to reduce any extra weight and feature Fulcrum's Dynamic Balance System. On the Racing Zero's, this means that it lacks the machining near the valve stem hole. The tiny mass of remaining aluminum, acts to balance the weight of the opposing rim joint. The front wheel has 16 ra...

Vector (15-18mm thick, 44mm wide)

Size : 15-18mm thick, 44mm wide You've been waiting for years, drooling and poring over discreet photos of Team Garmin Sharp prototypes at every race in the world. Yes, for more than three seasons, we've been guilty of this too. However, the wait is finally over, as the Garmin Vector Powermeter Pedals have arrived to market. And believe us -- it was worth the wait. Measures power output at the pedal, where force is applied Left/right balance: average at various time intervals Measures cadence, total power (watts), intensity factor Install it yourself in minutes Easily transferable between bikes ANT+ wireless protocol What's In The Box Vector pedals Pedal pods Cleats and hardware USB ANT Stick Manuals Measure Where It Matters Garmin brings power to the people with Vector, an innovative pedal-based power meter. It not only changes how power is measured; it changes how cyclists get power ? making it extremely easy to buy and install. Vector measures power at the pedal, where force is applied. It?s a direct measurement power meter that delivers reliable, accurate data. Because the force sensors are housed in each pedal, Vector gives you the unique ability to see right and left leg power independently. Easy to Buy, Install, Own In the past, owning a power meter was a complicated process and often involved making mechanical tradeoffs for your bike. Vector changes all of that. Now you can walk into your local bike shop, walk out with a Vector power meter in hand, and then install it yourself in minutes. There?s no need for a mechanic, no downtime while your bike is in the shop. Plus, there are no complex drivetrain or wheel tradeoffs to consider and no external sensors to install. See if Vector fits your crank. Another advantage of Vector is that you can use the same system on multiple bikes by simply swapping out pedals and moving the wireless head unit. And, you can take Vector with you when you?re going out of town for a race or when you?re traveling and might be renting or borrowing a bike. It?s also easy to update Vector software as enhancements are made, thanks to its ANT+ wireless technology. Wizardry Behind the Watts Vector works by measuring the deflection in the pedal spindle as you pedal. By comparing that measured deflection to a factory-calibration, Vector can determine how much force you?re applying to the pedal. Vector measures the force you apply a few hundred times every second. Built-in accelerometers also measure your pedaling cadence. The force sensor and related electronics are permanently and securely sealed within the pedal spindle. Complete Cycling Suite If you?re already using a compatible Garmin head unit such as the Garmin Edge 500, 510, 800, 810 or Forerunner 910XT, adding a Vector power meter will take your training to the next level. Vector measures total power, left and right leg power and cadence and sends the data to compatible Edge cycling computers or other ANT+ enabled head units¹. Complete the suite with post-ride

Fluid 2 Power Training Kit One Color, One Size

Riding your bike indoors is less than fun. Sure, you put in a few movies, or blast the music, but nothing reminds you more that you aren't outside and that you probably aren't maximizing those indoor miles. CycleOps knows how hard it is to focus indoors. Its Fluid 2 Power Training Kit is an affordable, yet highly effective indoor training system that also features power numbers. Now, instead of staring at re-runs or worse yet, the wall, you'll focus on your riding First, this training kit includes the CycleOps Fluid 2 Trainer. What makes a fluid trainer different from a magnetic trainer? Well, the resistance unit, rather than being a giant magnet, is encased in hydraulic fluid. Unlike a magnetic unit, where the resistance is external and variable, a fluid trainer relies on pedal speed to increase resistance. Therefore, the harder you pedal the more resistance you experience. Additionally, CycleOps uses Power Band technology that makes the level of resistance also a function of gearing and cadence. This gives you a range from 20watts to 725watts, with a single trainer. The Fluid 2 has a cooling mechanism so that no matter how many watts you produce, you won't see billows of smoke. The Fluid 2's 2. 75in roller means you'll have a smoother ride with less tire wear. It features a wide, stable base so that you'll feel secure on any surface and asymmetrical leveling feet ensure you'll always be balanced. The rear wheel mounts easily and a simple cam-lever tightens the resistance unit around the skewer. You won't have to readjust your bike every time you put it on the trainer. Sprint, jump, and timetrial without the worry that you'll pull the rear wheel out of the trainer. The coolest feature of the Fluid 2 Power Training Kit is the addition of power. The included PowerCal Power Meter and a Joule Cycling computer are the world's first ever power-based meter calculated from heart rate. The algorithms in PowerCal translate heart rate data into the vernacular of ...

i25 Disc Brake Road Wheelset - Tubeless Black/Red, Shimano/SRAM

The exquisite anodized finish of Industry Nine's i25 Road Disc Wheelset might be eye-catching, but it does nothing for the seat-of-the-pants experience. Taking care of that is a redesigned Torch hub, 2:1-laced Sapim spokes, and a 23. 2mm-wide tubeless-ready rim. All of this adds up to an incredible performance value that's equally at home racing or training. As always, the artfully machined Torch hubset is built in North Carolina by people who ride hard. It's the same driver used in the Torch mountain hubset but, to reduce drag, three pawls are used instead of six. On that same note, Industry Nine manufactures its own Teflon contact seals to defend against tenacious 'cross mud, while still remaining drag-free for stacking on the road miles. Unlike I9's mountain wheelsets, the I-series makes use of Sapim's trusted CX-Ray stainless steel spokes. These forged, bladed spokes have a reputation as a strong, stiff option for securing a hub to a rim. Enhancing the strength is a 2:1 lacing pattern on the 24-spoke rear wheel, with eight of those spokes on the non-drive side, and 16 on the drive side. The result is reduced wind-up for phenomenal power transfer, but with the lightness that comes with reduced spoke counts. Industry Nine forgoes traditional 19-19. 5mm rim widths in favor of a 23. 2mm-wide extrusion. This allows the use of 10-15psi lower tire pressures, and provides a tubular-like ride quality along with enhanced cornering grip. Add the ability of going tubeless and those characteristics are only enhanced. And as an added bonus, when coupled with 23 and 25mm tires, the wider rims provide better airflow for enhanced aerodynamics. The Industry Nine i25 Disc Brake Road Wheelset - Tubeless is available with either a Shimano/SRAM 11-speed freehub, and in Black/black or Black/red. They are compatible with six-bolt rotors.

G3 Alloy Powemeter Wheelset Black, Campagnolo

You now have no excuses for omitting those harsh sections of road from your training rides. You know, those stretches you've always wanted to check out, but have always avoided while running your precious carbon hoops. However, when equipped with proper wheels underneath you, such as PowerTap's durable 32-spoke, classic box-section rims, those battered roads open up with new light. And when you take these durable wheels and pair them with a PowerTap G3 Hub, your route possibilities become endless. With the G3 Alloy Wheelset, you'll be riding on the most dependable, affordable, and advanced power training package available. After all, you're training, and you need to ride the roads in front of you, no matter how torn up they might be. With this new wheelset from PowerTap, you get the venerable PowerTap G3 rear hub, which is the lightest and most advanced powermeter in the world, and Sun Ringle's EQ21L rims. PowerTap has completely redesigned the previous PowerTap model and improved multiple aspects ranging from rigidity to functionality. The new PowerTap G3 rear hub is a powermeter on a diet. An 80-gram weight reduction from the popular SL+ makes the G3 rear hub the lightest powermeter in the world. PowerTap improved on the rigidity of previous models for the G3 by shrinking the hub profile and widening the flanges, ending the days of heavy, paint bucket-sized rear hubs. With the distractions of weight and stealth design out of the way, PowerTap improved the functionality and accuracy of data gathering. For one, PowerTap moved the orientation of the electronics that transmit user data to the end cap of the freehub body. With the new positioning, it's now possible to remove the electronics for service without swapping out the entire wheel, equating to more time in the saddle and fewer headaches. The new G3 is also equipped with an ANT+ wireless transmitter that sends power, torque, speed, and virtual cadence data to either your PowerTap Joule GPS or any oth...
