Water Heating Control - 38k Capacity, 1/2" Inlet Pipe

The Robertshaw 110 and 220 Series gas water heater valves were first manufactured for the O.E.M. market in 1955. For the last 50 years, the 110 series has been the definitive gas water heater valve. Over the years, minor product improvements were incorporated, but the valves have remained basically the same. In 1995, Robertshaw introduced the new 220R Series gas water heater valve. The new 220R Series will mount and operate in the same manner as the original 110 Series. The 220R features simplified pilot lighting and easy-to-adjust gas pressure regulator. The 110 Series Water Heater Thermostat Uni-Kit and Commercial Water Heater Thermostat Uni-Kits were designed for universal replacement applications. All models feature built-in, non-cycling Energy Cut-Off (ECO) system to shut off all gas to the water heater in case of excessive water temperatures. If an ECO has detected an over-temperature condition and has opened, the control will not function and a new replacement will be required. All domestic and RV models have a 160 F temperature high stop. All commercial models have a 180 F temperature high stop. All models have a 5-1/2" sensing element and vary by inlet and outlet size, shank length, regulator type and setting.Made in the USA. 14.50 L. 9.50 W. 6.00 H.

Intermittent Pilot Ignition Control, 24vac, Lockout Timing 90 Sec.

When the thermostat calls for heat, the 780-845 control simultaneously initiates ignition sparking and opens the pilot valve portion of the gas valve. Pilot flame recognition stops ignition sparking and opens the main valve portion of the gas valve. Pilot burner flame is continuously monitored at a synchronous frequency for the duration of the heating cycle. Should the pilot flame fail during the heating cycle, the control will shut off the main valve until the pilot flame is established. The 780-845 lockout ignition control provides 90 seconds of spark, followed by a 6 minute time delay (purge) between ignition attempts. After three tries, if no pilot flame is sensed, the control goes into a one-hour lockout period. At the end of the lockout period, if the demand for heat is still present, the unit will repeat the three tries for ignition. Identifying Your Robertshaw ICU Terminals: MV-Main valve, PV-Pilot valve, LED-Dagnostic LED, TH-24V thermostat, PV-MV: Gas valve common, TR-Transformer ground, GND-Main Burner Ground, SENSE-Internal/external sense terminal, SPARK-Spark output. During lockout, you may override the auto-system, and manually reset the unit at the thermostat. The green diagnostic LED will be on continuously for normal operation. The LED will be off for internal lockout and will flash continuously for problems external to the control (ie. not sensing flame). 8.50 L. 8.50 W. 8.00 H.
