Baltoro Ski - Women's White/Orange, 167cm

No one likes a square--and those planky, one-dimensional point-and-shoot boards and the wimpy, uphill-only noodles are just so booooring. Lucky for you, the Dynafit Women's Baltoro Ski is the grooviest stick around--light enough to fly up the skinner, with enough of a downhill pedigree to let you ski that high-consequence line you've been jonesing for. Best of all, it weighs 10% less than the men's version, so you'll leave him sputtering in your wake before you're halfway to the top. To meet the needs of hardcore mountaineers, Dynafit constructed the Baltoro with a paulownia wood Impact core for light skinning and forgiving skiing, but reinforced it with fiberglass and carbon to give it enough backbone to handle serious skiing in tough terrain where falling would be a seriously bad idea. It's been firmed up further with a 3-piece sidewall construction, which resists torsion and stands up to rocks, ice, and the general beating that skis can take on long expeditions. Snow conditions tend to be a crapshoot when you're heading into serious alpine environments, but the Baltoro features an early-rise Scoop Rocker that's designed to glide over uneven snow but retain nearly full-length contact when laid on its side, so you don't have to sacrifice edge hold to have a versatile ski for serious ice, corn, and surprise pow stashes. It's also got a dual-radius sidecut, which makes it easy to adjust your turn shapes without feeling like you're fighting your skis, and a sintered graphite base that holds wax and stays fast, so you can cut loose when you're home free and enjoying some big, sweeping turns. There are Dynafit-skin-compatible Speedskin attachments at the tip and tail, too, saving you hassle when you're gearing up in the morning.

Pro X Series Ultimate Wake Surf Sac (1000 lbs)

Love wakesurfing? Want to get the best possible wake out of your boat? Buy this ballast bag! We don't call it the Ultimate Wake Surf Sac just because it sounds cool, whether you've got a direct drive or a v-drive, this bag combined with a standard surfing setup will transform your wake. The new Fly High Pro X Series Ultimate Wake Surf Sac is bigger than ever to create the perfect wakesurfing wake. Equally at home in inboard, v-drive and even jet boats like the Sea-Doo AR and Yamaha Wake Series, this is what you need to go ropeless the easy way. For Direct Drive Boats: Position this bag in the back corner of the boat for 1,000 pounds of wake building ballast. And since it's a single bag, it will be faster to fill and drain than multiple bags that weigh the same amount. The Ultimate Wake Surf Sac is perfect for weighting direct drive ski boats like the Malibu Response, Correct Craft Air Nautique, Supra Legacy, Moomba Mobius or Mastercraft Pro Star to create the perfect wakesurfing wake. The wake will grow in size, and you won't lose any seats inside the boat. You don't need a v-drive to put out a great surfing wake, you just need the Fly High Pro X Series Ultimate Surf Sac. For V-Drive Boats: Position the Ultimate Wake Surf Sac on top of the seats on the side you'll be surfing and get ready to ride. It's size and shape keep it perfectly positioned on the seats, and with a 1,000 pound capacity, you'll have plenty of wake for all but the most demanding wakesurfers. If you have a v-drive, this is a great way to add extra ballast to the boat. Whether your boat has a factory ballast system or not, the Ultimate Wake Surf Sac is right at home. Need more? You can always combine this bag with other Fly High Pro X Series Sacs if you want to build the biggest wake possible. Ambidextrous Design: The Fly High Ultimate Wake Surf Sac includes fittings on both the top and bottom, so you can use it on the port or starboard side of the boat by simply flipping it over to create the perfect wake for regular and goofy riders. One bag that does it all, that sounds pretty nice!

Hi5 Alpine Touring Ski One Color, 178cm

It's easier to wake up at 4am when you know that it dumped 2 feet last night, and it's even less of a chore when you know it's going to be smooth sailing all the way up to your line and down through the fresh with the pow-crushing shape of the La Sportiva Hi5. Without giving up La Sportiva's traditional lightweight and touring sensibility (it has the same poppy, lightweight Karuba paulownia wood core as Sportiva's rando-racing legend the RSR), the Hi5 features a big ol' Hi-Rise early-rise shovel that floats through the deepest powder you'll be able to find, and has traditional camber underfoot to keep it edgy when you encounter sketchy hardpack during your tour. Since it's a touring ski, the Hi5 places a premium on lightness, and so forgoes metal in favor of dual laminates: a tri-directional fiberglass layer and a bi-directional carbon/fiberglass mat keep things plenty stiff enough to ski hard in variable conditions, without the inconvenience of heavy, spirit-crushing metal layers. There are also rubber reinforcements in the tips, tails, and edges, to dampen vibrations for a smoother, more comfortable ride. ABS thermoplastic sidewalls and 1. 8mm steel edges can take a beating (even though you'll never ever ever hit a rock), and the holes in the tips and tails accept pre-cut La Sportiva skins to save you some hassle on the skinner and give you more time to float through creamy pow.

Parks Modello Wakeboard

Ronix is calling the 2014 Parks Modello wakeboard, with its camber rocker profile which is a first for the wakeboard industry, the biggest innovation in wakeboard design since the original Wake Tech Flight 69 twin tip wakeboard. That's a pretty high bar, but here's the thing, I don't think it's purely marketing hype. What I mean is, I think camber may honestly be one of the biggest things to happen to wakeboarding in recent memory. The impact is immediate the first time you lift out of the water on the 2014 Ronix Parks Modello. This wakeboard feels completely neutral and stable, while at the same time offering a very quick edge-to-edge feel, a combination that is almost eery. What is camber? Every wakeboard has a rocker profile, the amount, and shape of curvature the board has built into it. Up until now, all wakeboards have a had different variations of rocker, continuous, 3-stage, hybrid, etc. The 2014 Ronix Parks Modello wakeboard is unique in that while it does have traditional rocker at the tip and tail (that necessary for the board to ride through the water), the section of board under the rider's feet actually curves the opposite direction, which is called camber. Skis and snowboards have had camber for decades, but this is a new addition to the wakeboard industry, and when used correctly, as in the Parks Modello wakeboard, the results are eye opening. Forget what you know about Parks Bonifay's past pro model wakeboards, the 2014 Parks Modello is confidence inspiring for nearly every intermediate and higher rider. We have the camber profile to thank for that, which allows you to ride with your weight evenly distributed front to back. That results in a more anatomically correct position on the board, which mean your body is primed to perform. The 2014 Ronix Parks Modello wakeboard is unique in that it gives us a glimpse into what the future of wakeboarding will look like. Obviously not every board will have camber, but this isn't just a gimmick, it's a legitimate improvement, and one that we'll see in many different forms in the years ahead. Want to experience the future today? GIve the 2014 Ronix Parks Modello wakeboard a try.
