1. Camping Grill - You could always labor to build a fire, crudely skewer some hot dogs on sticks and see where it goes OR you can bring a
camping grill with an easy “on” switch and cook up some steaks to a nice medium-rare – yep, the camping grill seems like the way to go.
2. Mini Fridge - Igloo coolers are fine and dandy but, sorry to say, the ice WILL melt and inevitably your meats and fruits will soon be swimming in the same pool. Toting a
mini fridge to your camp site may not be the definition of “roughing it” but it’ll certainly keep your drinks chilled while avoiding the messy cooler stew.
3. DuraFlame Log - Building and maintaining a fire at a campsite is hard work – definitely no place for the weary kind. How can you be expected to cart in or collect the wood necessary to burn a blaze for hours on end? Ease your mind and bring along a couple DuraFlame logs. With the strike of a match, these babies will burn on their own for hours so you don’t have to lift a finger.
4. Sonicare Toothbrush - Many people simply go without brushing their teeth while camping; the more refined camper goes as far as putting toothpaste on their finger and calling it good. However, if you bring your
Sonicare toothbrush along with you, you’ll get that
fresh from the dentist’s chair feeling while feeling right at home.
5. La-Z-Boy Recliner - Sure, you could sit crisscross-applesauce on Mother Earth’s dirt floor or even upgrade to a rickety folding lawn chair while staring at the fire – all of that is just fine for some campers – but not you. Bring your La-Z-Boy sleeper chair to the campsite and imagine that that fire is your 52” flat screen TV singing you to sleep.
6. Laptop - Camping is a beautiful way to get in touch with nature and revisit your primal roots; building fires, getting dirty, listening to the crickets sing and doing all the things we did before electricity. That, how are you to be expected to NOT check your Facebook while in the wild? Feel free to bring your ‘ol
HP laptop along for the ride and rough it together.
7. Microwave - Sometimes you just don’t feel like slaving away over a hot stove at home – why should camping be any different? For those quick no-hassle meals, tote your microwave oven along and defy nature yet again with your snazzy new technology.
8. Boombox - Yes, nature provides a symphony of sounds that man has enjoyed for millions of years; however, she doesn’t offer much drum and bass. For when you’re looking to crank the party up a notch, bring a boombox along to bump the tunes that Mother Nature can’t.
9. Electric Blanket - There is absolutely no reason why you should be cold while enjoying the outdoors. Between negative temperature sleeping bags and your trusty electric blanket from your king-sized bed at home, you should be able to turn up the dial and snooze in comfort.
10. A Generator - Now, you’re probably asking yourself, “If I bring all of this stuff from home, how am I suppose to power it?” Well, the last thing you’ll need to bring to your campsite to make it feel like the comforts of home is a heavy-duty generator. Yep, drown out the natural sound of those pesky crickets and rushing rivers with the steady hum of a man made generator.
